Civil Unrest is a side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Civil Unrest side mission.
- Starting Location: Unmoored World > Bakbattahl
- Quest Giver: Menella
- Requirement: Completed the Unmoored World Trials (did the steps needed for “The Hero” trophy) & started Halls of the First Dawn side quest
- Reward: 20,000 XP, 30 Wyrmslife Crystals, 10,000 G
Objectives:
- Aid in the Evacuation of Battahl
- Speak to Empress Nadinia
Starting Location: Civil Unrest
As a prerequisite you must finish all other trials in the Unmoored World in one life without dying. See The Hero ending. Then return to Bakbattahl and approach the Oxcart station, Menella will automatically come running from the Flamebearer Palace and offers this quest.
If not, continue to the palace and talk to her. Also make sure Empress Nadinia is alive because you have to talk to her to finish the quest, if she or Menella died you can revive them at the Morgue using Wakestones.
Aid in the Evacuation of Battahl
All you have to do is break up 3 fights in Bakbattahl. If tracking the quest they will be marked by yellow search areas. Whether you use peaceful or violent means doesn’t influence the evacuation of Bakbattahl. You can simply attack them all to break up the fights.
Return to Menella afterward.
Speak to Empress Nadinia
Menella sends you to talk to the Empress. She can be found inside Flamebearer Palace in her chambers. After talking to her she will agree to evacuate the people and the quest is done.
This finishes Civil Unrest side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
