Halls of the First Dawn is a side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Halls of the First Dawn side mission.
- Starting Location: Unmoored World, at Seafloor Shrine
- Quest Giver: Rothais & Luz
- Requirement: Completed the Unmoored World Trials (did the all steps for “The Hero” trophy/achievement)
- Reward: The Guardian trophy/achievement (saved all people in Unmoored World)
Objectives:
- Lead people to the shrine
Starting Location: Halls of the First Dawn
First, you should finish all trials in Unmoored World (go to the red markers on map). Refer to The Hero Ending.
Then go to Seafloor Shrine and interact with the BLUE beacon (not the red beacon!). Interacting with the red beacon would end the game. In some cases the blue beacon may be available before having finished all trials, but having done them all is the guaranteed method for it to spawn. If you die in Unmoored World it resets your progress and you’ll have to do it all again.
Lead people to the shrine
This quest consists of finishing a series of other side quests, each of which evacuates one city to lead the inhabitants to Seafloor Shrine.
To finish this quest you must work through the following side quests:
- The Regentkin’s Resolve
- Wandering Roots
- Civil Unrest
- The Importance of Aiding Ernesto
- Shepherd of the Pawns
Upon finishing all those side quests, you will have saved all people in Unmoored World and unlock The Guardian. Then you can interact with the red beacon at seafloor shrine to finish the game and the Halls of the First Dawn side quest.
