Dragon’s Dogma 2 Hunt for the Jadeite Orb Walkthrough

Hunt for the Jadeite Orb is a side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Hunt for the Jadeite Orb side mission.

• Starting Location: Checkpoint Rest Town
• Quest Giver: Offulve
• Requirement: Complete Seat of the Sovran main quest
• Reward: 1000 XP, 3000 G, Elite Camping Kit if you give any orb to Offulve, 1000 XP, 12000 G, Ring of Skullduggery if you give the real orb to Everard
• Quest Description: On your wanderings, you encountered a man desperate to reclaim a stolen treasure: the Jadeite Orb.

Starting Location: Hunt for the Jadeite Orb

The first time you arrive at the Checkpoint rest town and progress into the main town area, you will automatically be approached by someone named Offulve and this quest automatically starts.

Find the Jadeite Orb

You are now tasked with finding the orbs, but it is possible to speak with another man in the town named Everard, who also asks you to find the orb for him instead of Offulve.

If you do a little bit of investigating you will be pointed to asking someone in the Vernworth Gaol about the orb, who after being bribed 500 G will tell you to look in the Scrap Shop in the Checkpoint Rest Town, but this is optional. You can go directly to Ibrahim’s Scrap Shop.

Here you can purchase the Jadeite Orb from him for a cost of 7500 G.

Deliver the Jadeite Orb

You can take the orb to whoever you prefer between Offulve and Everard and end the quest now if you want, but if you want you can pay for a forgery of it at the Scrap Shop and give it to both characters. Paying for a forgery costs an additional 2000 G, then you will need to wait two days for the forgery. If you want to give away both then you should give Offulve the forgery and Everard the real orb, as Everard will make you come and check the orb with Ibrahim before he gives you your reward.
