Dragon’s Dogma 2 The Provisioner’s Plight Walkthrough

March 21, 2024 by HardyBoy 1 Comment

The Provisioner’s Plight is a side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Provisioner’s Plight side mission.

  • Starting Location: Borderwatch Outpost
  • Quest Giver: Geoffrey
  • Requirement: Started In Dragon’s Wake main quest
  • Reward: 400 XP, 900 G, 1 x Dried Fruit
  • Quest Description: Oft what matters is that the work gets done, not the hands that do it. When saddled with another’s tasks, you can but hope that the trust you earn will make it worth the effort.

Objectives:

  1. Deliver the provisioner’s note to Markus
  2. Procure some harspuds and salubrious draughts
  3. Give Markus the provisions
  4. Report back to Geoffrey

Starting Location: Borderwatch Outpost

Deliver the provisioner’s note to Markus

In the center of the camp there are several tents and a man near a table, When you approach Geoffrey will automatically speak to you and ask for your help. Agree then he will give you a note, which you need to take to a man named Markus who is directly north of the camp (along the path you first entered from).

Procure some harspuds and salubrious draughts

Markus doesn’t want to get the extra items, so tasks you with grabbing them. There will be two large areas marked on the map you can search for the items in. Harspuds are their own item that grow on the ground with vines around them. You need at least 3 of these.

Salubrious Draughts are a potion you have to craft, which you can make by finding Grapes or Apples and combining with Greenwarish, which is what leafy green bushes are. You can then go into your inventory and use the combine action to combine either option with the Greenwarish to make Salubrious Draught. You need at least 2 of these.

Depending on what pawns you have one of them might offer to lead you directly to the items, where you can follow them and they will lead you to the gather spots.

Give Markus the provisions

Once you have the items, go back and speak to Markus on the hill, and give him the required items. He’ll give you 1 x Waking Powder before leaving.

Report back to Geoffrey

You can then head back to the Outpost to speak with Geoffrey to complete the quest.

This finishes The Provisioner’s Plight side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
