Far Cry New Dawn Breakout Walkthrough

Breakout is a main story mission in Far Cry New Dawn. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the “Breakout” Main Quest.

Breakout Starting Location

This mission will become available, once you are in Prosperity’s main building. Talk to Kim to initiate this mission. First of all, she will give you a brief rundown on how things work around Prosperity in terms of upgrades and such.
From this point on, you can fully use the map and all menus, once you press .

Reach the Coal Mine

On your way to the Coal Mine, it is a good idea to finish some easy Challenges from the menu to gain some quick Perk Points. Buying the Binoculars is highly advised, as tracking enemies from afar is very helpful in this game. Press to use them.
There is roughly half a dozen enemies in the area, two on elevated positions. Beware, that some of them might be a higher level than you are and can’t be taken down from behind. Try to thin out their numbers a bit, before participating in a gunfight.

Find a Way to Enter the Building

The key to the building is located on a crate facing the Mine Entrance. The door to enter the building is just around the corner to the right.

Enter the Building and Search for Rush

While underground, there will be a few patrolling guards. Throwing a rock is a good way to make them turn around and get them out of the way.
In the purple-lit area, there are likely to be a few enemies close together, making it a bit harder to separate them. If you choose to start shooting at this point, it shouldn’t cause you much trouble, as there is plenty of good cover around.

Reach Rush’s Position

When you reach a ladder, climb it to reach Rush who is in the process of taking out his captor with a crowbar.

Defend Rush

Enter the vehicle from the backside and shoot all the enemies on your way.
Use Rush’s comments and the white Threat Indicators to quickly find your next victims.

Escort Rush to Prosperity

When you are about 1.000 meters away from Prosperity, you have to switch to the driving seat. To make the blue GPS marker appear, place a waypoint on the map.

When you arrive at Prosperity, a cutscene will play where Rush gets patched up.
