Ethan’s Soul is a and final main story mission in Far Cry New Dawn. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of Ethan’s Soul Main Quest.

Ethan’s Soul Starting Location
Objective: Reach Ethan and Joseph
Head to Joseph’s Sanctuary to find both guys. Ethan will eat a fruit from a forbidden tree and this won’t do him any good since his soul isn’t pure. This will trigger a transformation and you will have to fight Ethan.
Objective: Defeat Ethan
Ethan will turn into a monster-like enemy. Similar to the monstrous animals in the free roam, he will have orange spots on his body. Those are your go-to targets. Especially the one on his back. Try to get behind him and shoot his back for massive damage. You can find ammo crates in the cave as well (they give you medkits too).
Once you have defeated Ethan, a cutscene will play and you will have the chance to decide Joseph’s fate. Kill him or let him live. Do as you wish. It won’t make a huge difference, the final moments of the game will be the same regardless.
Objective: Reach Rush’s grave
Once you are done head back to Prosperity and visit Rush’s grave. Once you are there a cutscene will play. Enjoy a beer with Carmina and congratulations, since you have finished the game.
This concludes the “Ethan’s Soul” main mission in Far Cry New Dawn and finishes the story. You can continue to mop up what you missed in free roam, hunt animals, gather collectibles, replay outposts and work on trophies & achievements.
