Far Cry New Dawn Crawling from the Wreckage Walkthrough

Crawling from the Wreckage is the 1st main story mission in Far Cry New Dawn. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the “Crawling from the Wreckage” Main Quest.

Crawling from the Wreckage Starting Location

This Prologue mission will automatically start, once the first cutscenes have played.

Escort Rush

You will find yourself inside the train wreckage and have to escort Rush through the debris and fighting some Highwaymen.
While navigating through the wreck, there will be a few things worth picking up. Turn around at the very start to loot a backpack and pick up a medikit. They can be used in critical situations by holding .

The path out of the tunnel is very linear.

At the end of the tunnel, go through the train car to pick up some more items along the way.

When facing the valley with the other train cars you might already spot some enemies you can and should take out.

They will be all in quite isolated spots and can be taken down relatively easy. If you sneak up on them they shouldn’t be able to spot you and alarm their friends.

Facing the Armory Car with the pink flares, there will be a total of five enemies. The first one can be jumped upon and taken out; the other four can be killed one by one.

Every enemy killed now will be one less to worry about in just a minute.

Escape to the River

When you enter the armored car and pick up a machine gun, you will be attacked by enemies, no matter how quiet you were.
Fighting them is actually optional, as you’re objective is to escape the area. They will spawn above and a few vehicles will approach from the right. If you choose to fight them, the train car itself provides some decent cover.

Ultimately, you have to get out of the armored car and run down to the left.

Using the zipline takes off a few seconds and will show you the general way you have to run towards the River.

When approaching the River, a cutscene will play and introduce us to the infamous Twins.

When things get heated, our companion Rush will push us down the cliff into the water to save us.
