Problem Solver is a main story mission in Far Cry New Dawn. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of Problem Solver Main Quest.
- Reach the New Eden compound / chapel
- Kill Mickey and Lou
Problem Solver Starting Location
Objective: Head to New Eden Compound and Kill the Twins
This mission is very straightforward. As soon as you enter the chapel in New Eden the Twins will appear and the fight will start.
Mickey and Lou will be somewhere in the area. Mickey is a Sniper boss and easy to find due to her blue laser sight. Lou will use a flamethrower from up close.
An easy way to defeat them is with the Legendary “Blunderbuss MG42” (requires fully upgraded weapon station). Focus on Mickey (Sniper Boss) first. Climb up the ladder on the back of the house she’s at. Then pump her full with one magazine of the MG42 and she will go down. Repeat the same for Lou (Flamethrower Boss). Remember you can replenish ammo and medkits infinitely in this boss fight via the ammo crates. One ammo crate is in the middle of the road, the other is up the hill where the mission started with the initial cutscene.
Once you have defeated both of them you get to decide whether to execute Mickey or let her live. Either way it doesn’t matter for the rest of the story. There’s only one mission left after that.

I hate this fight so much. Too much. I used an LMG on Mickys helmet and it did 33 damage. When it breaks it does 55. I don’t know about Lou because I haven’t gotten so far. The farthest I got was downing Micky and then I died. I counted all my attempts and I have done 34 attempts with an LMG, and an RPG. This isn’t a bad boss because it’s boring. It’s bad because if you don’t have workbench tier 3 then you’re gonna be having mental breakdowns like me. Darn you Micky and Lou
