The Great Escape is a Prosperity Specialist story mission in Far Cry New Dawn. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Great Escape Main Quest.

The Great Escape Starting Location
Approach Greasemonkey’s Cage stealthily and take care of any Highwaymen in the area.
Get to Nick who is slowly bleeding out on the ground, revive him, then talk to him to officially start the mission.
Follow Nick Rye
Nick will use a zipline down to the area below. Follow him quickly, before he attracts any attention.
He will lead down a long path towards a boat house where they were keeping his plane.
Drive Nick Rye’s Vehicle
“Plane” is somewhat of a misnomer at the moment, as it hasn’t been completely fixed up. Not even the mission objective wants to call it anything more specific than a “vehicle”. Climb in and wait for Nick to get in the passenger seat.
Deliver Nick Rye’s Vehicle
Since you have to reach your objective without the plane being destroyed, having the Mechanic perk will definitely make this mission easier. Drive straight ahead and bust through the door.
Follow the path of the river for now, keeping the nose up when you go over any falls to keep the plane upright.
Don’t be alarmed when the waypoint eventually directs you to travel up a dirt path, the plane’s pontoons have wheels attached to them, making the plane amphibious. Keep to the roads though, it isn’t exactly all-terrain.
When the waypoint directs you to travel down a broken railway bridge, once again keep your nose up and land safely on the river below.
While on the river, avoid the floating red barrels which will explode on impact.
They are great to run Highwaymen boats into however, if you want a chuckle.
Pay attention to Nick’s status while you’re piloting. If he starts bleeding out, he will fall out of the plane and into the water / onto the ground, forcing you to get out and revive him before you can continue. Make sure he’s back in the passenger seat before you proceed.
At the end of your trip, Nick will direct you to dock the plane in a shack on the river. Maneuver into the narrow slip in order to complete the mission.

I have a question in far cry new dawn every vehicle mission in the game I can not get any vehicle past a crawl. I’m stuck on the Nick rye mission. I found the plane but no matter what I do it crawls to the first falls goes over and is destroyed? I’ve done this mission 50 + times and it’s the same result every time.
