Hogwarts Legacy Map With Floating Candles Treasure Solution

In Hogwarts Legacy you must use the map with Floating Candles to find the treasure for Side Quest: Ghost of Our Love. You get the treasure map as part of that quest, the exact point where the map spawns varies depending on what house you play (Gryffindor: Hogsmeade / Slytherin: Squid Cave under Hogwarts / Ravenclaw: Owlery / Hufflepuff: Upper Hogsfield). This guide shows the floating candles treasure map solution location.

To solve this you simply need to go to the location indicated on the treasure map, which is a fixed spot and always the same.

1. The treasure map solution starts at the “Forbidden Forest” fast travel point.
    
2. Just a few steps to the west of the fast travel point is a bridge. At night cast Lumos at the start of the bridge to make flying candles appear (not the bridge leading north). It has to be night, doesn’t work during day. You can skip to night by opening the map and pressing the “Wait” button displayed at the bottom of the map (R3 / Right Stick).
   
3. Follow the flying candles that appear after casting Lumos. They will fly across the bridge to the north into Forbidden Forest. Keep following the candles until they stop. A chest will appear, open it to finish the treasure hunt.
