Introduction

Welcome to the Lost Ember Trophy Guide! In Lost Ember you play as different animals as you explore the remains of a fallen world and try to uncover what happened to the population that once inhabited it. As you play through the story, you will learn the truth as to why you’re a lost ember and why you have the power to possess different animal species. With a relaxing atmosphere, Lost Ember is primarily a collectathon, sporting an astonishing number of Collectibles and vast worlds to explore.

As such, you can expect many collectible-related and exploration-oriented trophies. With just a bunch of trophies requiring you to perform certain actions while possessing different animals, the rest is in fact mainly focused on finding all Collectibles and some secret locations in the game. Make sure to read our Collectible Guide as you play through the game.

Step 1: Play through the Story while getting all Collectibles

Your first step is simple. Just play through and enjoy this very inspiring story. As you go through each of the 6 different chapters, keep checking the Collectible Guide. It’s a lot more time-effective to collect everything during the story than cleaning up after. This is because the Collectibles Guide was written during the story and follows the default path that may be harder to make sense of if you clean things up later.

Step 2: Collectibles and Miscellaneous Trophies Clean-up (optional)

Although it’s recommended to follow the Collectibles Guide as you play through the story the first time, you may still have some Collectibles to clean up. If so, reload any chapter section to find what you miss. Combine your Collectibles clean-up to unlock any miscellaneous trophies left as well.

I Remember
Triggered all memories
During your journeys through the different worlds / chapters, sometimes you will notice red smoke. This signals the presence of a memory that you can trigger to learn more about the past. Most memories are along the scripted path of the main story. Only a few are off the beaten track, but are still marked by red smoke and very visible even from very far. The last memory that you need to trigger for the trophy is at Temple of the Sun (Chapter 6).

I’m on a Roll
Rolled for a mile
The only animal in the game that can roll is the wombat (story-related, cannot be missed). When playing as the wombat, hold :x: to start rolling down a hill. A really good location to unlock this trophy early in the game is in the same area as the Legendary Wombat, where there are normal wombats as well. Near its location is a very steep hill you can roll down on. Keep rolling until you unlock the trophy. It shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes.
Windy up here
Spent a bunch of time in the air
The animals you can fly with in the game are ducks, hummingbirds, parrots, and the eagle at the end of the game (all story-related, cannot be missed). Don’t even worry about this. It will unlock naturally as you play through the game.
Wrecking Ball
Damaged over 20 remains from the old days
Chapter: Chapter 2 – Gathering Followers

Shortly after unlocking the armadillo for the first time, you’ll eventually reach a platform with some ducks. At the start of this platform are some remains you can destroy. Destroy all 5 of them and restart the Checkpoint. Rinse and repeat. Alternatively, if you prefer to take care of this trophy after the story, you can reload Chapter 2 – Gathering Followers and you’ll spawn directly next to the remains. Again, rinse and repeat.

I’m down here!
Spent a bunch of time underground
The only animal in the game that can spend time underground is the armadillo (story-related, cannot be missed). You will spend a lot of time underground as you search for Collectibles, so don’t even worry about this one. It will unlock naturally as you play through the game.
Splish Splash
Spent a bunch of time underwater
The only animal in the game that can spend time underwater is the fish (story-related, cannot be missed). You will spend a lot of time under water as a fish, so don’t even worry about this one. It will unlock naturally as you play through the game.

Behind the Waterfall
Found an odd mini-game
Chapter: Chapter 2 – Igniting the Fire

Shortly after the beginning of Chapter 2, you’ll come across a pond with some ducks and ducklings. The pond is after walking on a log. Possess a duckling and make your way towards the waterfall of the pond to enter a secret area. After entering the area, you’ll unlock this trophy.

Kudos to misterpumpkin97 for finding the location.

This is Hard!
Got through the Flappy Duckling level
Chapter: Chapter 2 – Igniting the Fire

After finding the odd mini-game, you can play it. The mini-game plays exactly like the popular mobile game Flappy Bird in which you need to evade the barriers by pressing :x: at the right moment. When you get to the end of the mini-game, the trophy will unlock and you’ll also be rewarded with Relic #10 (Ceramic Bowl).

The Munchies
Had too many berries.
Chapter: Prologue – Companionship

This will be the first trophy you unlock. When you possess the wombat inside the caves (story-related, cannot be missed), you will eventually come across some blue berry bushes. Here you can eat some berries. To unlock the trophy you need to eat berries 10 times by following the on-screen button prompts.

The World is Yours
Found the golden statue
Chapter: Chapter 6 – Temple of the Sun

Climb up the stairs and interact with the memory. After, head right and possess one of the wombats wandering among some rocks. Then, enter the nearby tunnel. It’ll lead you inside the Temple of the Sun where the golden statue is, thereby unlocking this trophy.

Check the islands in Chapter 2. They’re usually easily skipped.

I’ve been having the same issue…there are 36 memories in total that count towards the trophy and are the memories that require “Reveal”. If you go to “Load Game” it will say how many you have. The problem I am having is there are 2 that no matter how many times I replay or restart the chapter, it will not count it. I played through while checking the counter on the load game and replay until it did count on a fresh save. Still have yet to get the trophy due to a glitch that will not count the 2. Hoping they patch this soon. It’s beyond frustrating and I nearly lost my mind thinking I missed them somehow.

Hopefully, they will. Meanwhile you can get in touch with Mooneye through their Discord.

Hi guys, how compares this game to “Spirit of the North” which looks to be a similiar game??

They’re very similar, if not twins I would say. Maybe Spirit of the North has less framerate drops.

So here we are… No memories trophy, apparently I got 3 missing. No tracking per level even though it is a collectable basically… I hope they patch this or this sucks big time. No platinum, no fun.

Idk how to comment on Bethanys post but I have the exact same problem with 2 memories missed. There’s been an update recently but idk how to tell what 2 memories to go back to. Thought maybe I’d be missing the same ones as her if some one can somehow show her my post or tag her or something I’d appreciate it so maybe she can tell me what ones she’s missing and I can go check mine since the update might have fixed it. Thanks!
