Characteristics: The frills on either side of its head have cells that generate electricity when exposed to sunlight.
Helioptile Location in Pokemon Legends Z-A:
- Caught in Wild Zone 14 (available after Main Mission 19: Reaching Rank D). It can spawn near the start of the zone, after you enter the zone in front of you on the right side where a small building is. It only spawns at day when it’s sunny weather! It’s a very rare spawn, took me 30+ fast travels to get it once. Enter the zone and quickly check the right side if it spawned. If not, exit the zone and fast travel away and travel to Zone 14 again, rinse and repeat. When you do find it, throw Great Balls or Ultra Balls at it (bought from Pokécenters). If you don’t catch it, it will get enraged but after a short cooldown you can throw Pokeballs again until you catch it.
