RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business Trophy Guide

I’d buy that for a dollar!
Acquire all the trophies.
Platinum
Earn all other trophies in RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business to unlock Platinum (no DLC required)!
Part Man, Part Machine, All Correct
Pass the RoboCop fan’s test.
Bronze
During the 2nd mission “Lion’s Den” you will reach a point where you have to protect the innocent. For this, you have to breach into three different areas. Follow this path to find and rescue the RoboCop fan.

After you rescue him, he will ask you four questions. Here are the answers in the order he wants them:

  1. (Say Prime Directives)
  2. Metro West and Metro North
  3. OCP Crime Prevention Unit 001
  4. He became RoboCop 2

The trophy unlocks after you answer all four questions correctly. If you fail, you can restart the checkpoint, but you have to clear the previous area with enemies again.

Miranda’s Secret
Read a digital message about Miranda’s past.
Bronze
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed. During the 7th mission “Ice and Steel”, objective “Search Mirandas’s office”, you will interact with a computer. Read the emails, then the trophy will pop after you back out of the computer.
Petting Protocol Activated
Pet a cat.
Bronze
You can earn this during the 3rd mission, “Down the Rabbit Hole”. During the objective “Ask the bartenders for gate access”, you will find a cat near one of the four bartenders. Just interact with it to unlock the trophy.

There will be two more cats during the 10th mission “The Lethal Gambit”. Both of them will be on the main path of the story.

Trash Day
Destroy an Otomo prototype using a trash compactor.
Bronze
During the 10th mission “The Lethal Gambit” you will pass a section where you are not allowed to shoot or else you will get killed. At the end of the section, you will have to override a security system. After that, you have to jump down to an area with a trash compactor. Doing this will spawn Otomo prototype enemies.

Grab one of them and throw him into the compactor to unlock the trophy.

Thank You for Your Noncooperation
Eliminate any enemy by performing a finisher.
Bronze
During the 2nd mission, “Lion’s Den” Objective “Reach the Information Desk” you will be introduced on how to do takedowns. This part can not be missed, press :r1: / :rb: to do the takedown.

Mind the step!
Experience ED-209’s biggest weakness.
Bronze
During the 9th mission, “Urban Pacification” you play as a big robot called ED-209 from the beginning. During this mission, you will reach a hallway filled with trap mines. The quest marker at first will tell you to go downstairs, but it changes once you go near the stairs. To unlock the trophy, just go downstairs.

By the Book
Score “A” on any evaluation.
Silver
After each mission, except the 1st mission “Assault on Metro West”, you will get a new evaluation. The grade is based on the following:

  • Primary objectives (1.000XP, can’t be missed)
  • Secondary objectives (between 100XP – 500XP per objective)
  • Investigations (between 100XP – 500XP per investigation)
  • Police work (between 100XP – 500XP, those are the drugs, fake money etc. that you can find in each mission)

You don’t need to fulfill every objective to get an A rank, but you will need 2500XP or more to get an A rank. The easiest mission to get this is the mission 2, “Lion’s Den” as the requirements are easier to reach in this mission.

Brutally Honest
Upset a child.
Bronze
During the 7th mission “Ice and Steel” you will have to follow Stella to a gate. Instead of doing this, go to this location where you will find a child on a bench. You must help him.

Then answer a couple of questions however you want. When he asks, “What do you think Mr. police officer?” you MUST select “Some details are missing” to unlock the trophy.

Quicksilver
Stop the trash compactor in less than 40 seconds.
Silver
You can earn this trophy at the very beginning of the 3rd mission, “Down The Rabbit Hole”. You will start this mission in the trash compactor. To stop it, you must shoot down 8 control panels. There are two on each side of the room. But the first and the eighth panel are separated by garbage. This means you have to shoot down 1, then 2&3, 4&5, 6&7, and then 8.

  1. The first one is to your right as soon as you spawn in.
  2. From the first one, turn around and shoot the next one across the room.
  3. Move forward and look to the left, and you will see the next two panels.
  4. Move further and shoot the next one on the left side (next to the second panel you shot)
  5. Next to 4, you can already see the next two panels.
  6. Move a bit further and you will see the last panel.

If you did not earn the trophy, you can restart the checkpoint. Just don’t leave the room or else you will get a new checkpoint.

Sayonara
Kill an Otomo prototype with a katana.
Bronze
During the 7th mission, “Ice and Steel” you will be introduced to robots with katanas. From this point on, they will appear in each RoboCop-related mission. They will wear a suit and a mask. You have to kill one, then grab his katana, and then kill another one with the katana.

Insider
Gain a mysterious ally.
Bronze
Story-related, cannot be missed. During the 2nd mission, “Lion’s Den” Objective “Use the Information Desk” you will use a computer. After this, you will get the trophy.

Identify Yourself
Learn the identity of your mysterious ally.
Bronze
Story-related, cannot be missed. You earn this halfway through the 3rd mission, “Down The Rabbit Hole”, during the objective “Reach the Main Technical Room”.
We killed you!
Get eliminated as Alex Murphy.
Silver
You can get this trophy in 4th mission “The Weight of the Badge”. Here, you don’t play as Robocop. To earn this trophy, an enemy must kill you.
Your Move, Cupid
Help Steve propose to Stella.
Bronze
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed. Near the end of the 10th mission “The Lethal Gambit” you will have to shut down two consoles in two separate security rooms. When you follow the path through the Security Outpost B gate, you will reach one of the security rooms. When you breach into the room, kill both enemies and the trophy will unlock.

Thank you for the trophy guide. I enjoyed Rogue City, so I will definitely play this standalone expansion eventually, but considering that game took me about 16 hours to earn the Platinum trophy, and this takes 8-10 hours to complete, I will wait for it to be added to PS Plus or buy it digitally at a cheap price.

It’s $30… It’s less than half the price of a full game. It was on a preorder sale for even less than $30.

They first appear in mission 7 – Ice and Steel, there is actually dialogue and a quick cutscene that introduces them.

I got hit with a really nasty bug on mission 9. Before you get your Auto-9 back you have to rely on dropped guns. The bug locks you out of being able to swap weapons from the ground. It seems to trigger when you pick up and swap out too many guns over the course of the entire game. It seems to affect people around mission 9, but some earlier in the game.

What happens is when you go to swap out a gun or pick up ammo for the gun you have, you’ll get an odd message saying your restoration items are full, and the ammo/gun will dissappear like you picked it up. But you don’t actually pick it up. You still may or may not get the ammo if its ammo for your current secondary gun. Now whenever you try to hold square to pick up a dropped gun it won’t pick up any other guns the icon will just fill up over and over but never swap the weapon. This issue bugs the rest of the game lo
    Ike this too.

Its particularly nasty in mission 9 when you run out of ammo and several guys are on balconies that have no way up to. Otherwise I suggest getting combat up to 10 skillpoints so your shock kills enemies. Thats the only thing that got me through the mission.

I had this issue as well. Just reload a checkpoint it fixed for me. Also you could quit out of game then launch game again to continue game.

I had the same Issue in, i think, Chapter 3 or so. But in the next Chapter the Issue has gone.

      @Donkey Kong: Bananza
      @Sven

Reloading doesn’t fix it for most people though. You got lucky. For me I reloaded the chapter it started in from the very start. Was able to pick up 4 – 5 different weapons before it triggered again. This seems to be the case for most people who ran into it. And for me it also carried over into the next chapter and remained through the rest of the game.

That said, the patch that dropped yesterday fixed this bug. I tested it myself by loading the second to last chapter, which was one chapter past were it was happening, and can now pick up weapons fine.
