Prisoner of Love is the sixteenth main quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Prisoner of Love Main Mission.
Requirement: having completed Main Quest: Trials of Merlin, Level 5 – Hufflepuff Exclusive Main Quest

Quest Info: The Portrait of Eldritch Diggory, former Ministry of Magic, may have some information for me.
Objectives:
- Speak to the Portrait for Eldritch Diggory
- Speak to Helen Thistlewood
- Speak to Anne in Azkaban
- Find What Jackdaw Left for Anne
- Leave the Vault
Starting Location: Prisoner of Love
This quest is exclusive to Hufflepuff. Depending on your house you will get a different main quest at this point in the story:
- Ollivander’s Heirloom (Ravenclaw)
- The Hunt for the Missing Pages (Gryffindor)
- Prisoner of Love (Hufflepuff)
- Scrope’s Last Hope (Slytherin)
We’ve made the acquaintance of archeologist and historian Nora Treadwell who introduced us to the Trials of Merlin, environmental puzzles scattered all throughout Hogwarts and the Highlands. After solving our first Trial of Merlin, we must speak with Eldritch Diggory for the next step.
Speak to the Portrait for Eldritch Diggory
Proceed to the next quest marker using the Charmed Compass to find your way and speak to the portrait at the location.
Speak to Helen Thistlewood
Warp to any Hogsmeade floo flame you have available and sprint your way to the next quest marker to speak to Helen.
Speak to Anne in Azkaban
Follow Helen to Anne’s cell in Azkaban.
Find What Jackdaw Left for Anne
Proceed to the next quest marker and use the Charmed Compass to find your way more easily. Enter the vault and stand on the platform in the middle. Then, use Revelio to highlight which handles you have to pull using Accio. Pull all of them and this will open up a room with a letter Jackdaw had left for Anne.
Leave the Vault
Now exit the vault and speak with Jackdaw’s ghost.
This finishes Prisoner of Love in Hogwarts Legacy.
