Zelda Tears of the Kingdom – Marakuguc Shrine Walkthrough

May 11, 2023 by PowerPyx Leave a Comment

Marakuguc Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is found in Eldin region.

Marakuguc Shrine Location

You will walk past this Shrine during Main Quest: Yunobo of Goron City. It’s found in Eldin > Goron City, on top of the hill north of the city.

Marakuguc Shrine Solution

This Shrine is about “Wheeled Wonders”, it teaches you how to use wheeled objects to get cross lava.

  1. Attach the long end of the broken bridge to the short end using Ultrahand. You must stretch it using Dpad  to extend it, and as usual use the right stick to lift it up and down. After attaching both ends of the bridge you can walk across.
  2. Next there is a wheeled cart. On the left is another extendable bridge. Grab it with Ultrahand and use  place it far away on the other end across the lava. It will partially sink in the lava. So to bridge the gap, put the wheeled cart in the lava. From the bridge you can jump on the wheeled cart, from there jump to the end of the bridge across the lava.
  3. There will 2 wheeled carts in front of you. Turn them sideways and put them over the lava. Put one after the other so they connect. Climb the tire, jump from one cart to the next to reach the platform in the middle of the lava.
  4. Again grab both carts using Ultrahand and place them over the 2nd lava gap.
  5. Stand under the metal grate and use Ascend to teleport up.
  6. Defeat the next enemy, then you find 2 carts, some balls and a metal rail on the right. The carts and metal rail are just a distraction and don’t matter, ignore them. The only goal is to get most of the metal balls onto the orange-glowing floor on the other side. The path below the big metal bars is open so you can simply use Ultrahand to carry the balls one by one onto the orange platform. After putting enough balls (about 65% of them), a cutscene plays and the door opens.

Interact with the green altar at the end of the shrine for 1 Light of Blessing. It also restores your health and unlocks the shrine as a permanent fast travel point.
