Requirement: Started ‘A New Signature Food’ Side Adventure
Reward: x1 Hateno Cheese
Quest Info: Koyin, a farmer in Hateno Village, dropped a message bottle containing a letter from her great-grandfather into a pond. Worse still, she’s not a good enough swimmer to dive into the pond after it.
Objectives:
- Speak to Koyin
- Locate the bottle
- Make a platform
- Return to Koyin
- Follow Koyin
Starting Location: A Letter to Koyin
Speak to Koyin
Speak to Koyin near the lake at the Hateno Pasture to start this quest.
Locate the Bottle
Look out into the middle of the lake and you will see this bottle:
Make a platform
You can use zonai materials or ice arrows to create yourself a bridge to the bottle:
Cross the bridge you made and grab the bottle using Ultrahand and bring it back to the shore:
Return to Koyin
Bring the bottle back to Koyin and speak to her so it can be opened.
Follow Koyin
Follow Koyin back to her house and speak to her to have her reveal what the letter says and complete this quest.
