Full Steam is the 60th main story quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Full Steam main scenario chapter.
- Starting Location: The Ironworks
- Requirement: Complete A Song of Hope
- Reward: None
- Quest Info: The vessel complete and her mythril engines humming, Mid makes to pursue the Einherjar that they might rescue Jill from the King of Waloed’s clutches. However, before Clive and the others can board, the Ironworks’ hidden cove is overtaken by a company of Akashic knights bent on violence.
Objectives:
- Slay the Akashic
- Buy Mid some time
- Sail to the Naldia Narrow
Slay the Akashic
After returning to the Ironworks, there will be a scene and you will then need to deal with waves of Akashic enemies while waiting to set sail. These are mostly basic enemies, so deal with them how you like while your companions help out.
Buy Mid some time
After three waves of Akashic enemies, there will be a scene, then you will start a new battle in the same area against a number of Sleipnir clones. These are thankfully much weaker than the one you fought previously, only using basic sword attacks and going down like normal enemies. Keep taking these out as they appear. If you have Ignition equipped it is very helpful here as it picks up the clones and drags them around like normal red bar enemies.
Sail to the Naldia Narrow
After defeating enough Sleipnir clones there will be a scene of the group escaping. After the rest of the scenes select The Naldia Narrow on the world map to proceed to the next main quest.
