Naruto to Boruto Shinobi Striker: How to Unlock VR Missions

VR Missions are PVE quests in Naruto to Boruto Shinbo Striker. You can play them in the VR Ninjutsu Arena, on the right side of the map.

Unlocking new VR Missions: To unlock more VR missions you have to talk to people around the map. All quests are given by villagers. Your level and master does not matter for this, you just need to find the villagers and talk to them.

They are sort of like the story in this game, except they are geared more towards objective based co-op play. Up to 4 players can take part or you can play them solo. It doesn’t matter if you do them in co-op or solo. Either way they will show a green checkmark once completed and new missions become available. However, they only count as completed when you got them unlocked yourself. If you just join someone else’s session for a mission you haven’t unlocked, it won’t count for you. Doing these missions also unlocks new VR Masters and when you level them up you unlock their moves for your character. You also earn trophies in co-op.

VR Missions Unlock Order

Below are the villagers and their locations. Luckily, the map is super small so they are easy to find. After completing a VR mission be sure to go back to the quest giver and talk to them again to complete the quest. You must talk to them in this order to get their VR missions.

Note: Sometimes the next quest giver does not spawn correctly right away! If you can’t find them, quit the game and restart it. If you have trouble finding the NPCs between real players running around, you can also play offline by disconnecting from the internet, then it’s just the NPCs and they are easier to see.

1. Bell-Stealing Exercise = Sakura Uchiha: On the left side, she’s a shopkeeper
2. Protect the Village Gate! = Sakura Uchiha: On the left side, she’s a shopkeeper
3. Free Practice of Passionate Youth = Rock Lee: On the left side, to the left of the stairs that lead to PVP arena.
4. Steal the Forbidden Scrolls = Rock lee: On the left side, to the left of the stairs that lead to PVP arena.
5. Gamabunta in Peril! = Gaara: Right side of village, he stands to the left of the stairs leading to the VR mission arena
6. Destruction of the Leaf = Boruto Uzumaki: In the garden on the right side of the map, he stands in front of a little stone shrine there.
7. Protect the Village Gate = Boruto Uzumaki: In the garden on the right side of the map, he stands in front of a little stone shrine there.
8. A Tense Pursuit = Shikamaru Nara: He’s PVP manager at the top of the stairs (Hokage’e Estate).
9. Welcome to My Art Exhibit! = Choji Akimichi: Stands on the road under the big red gate that leads to the right garden (in front of the right garden).
10. The White Army’s Assault = Choji Akimichi: Stands on the road under the big red gate that leads to the right garden (in front of the right garden).
11. Hidden Leaf Forest Night Terrors = Sai: Upstairs on the path to the PVP arena (Hokage’s Estate), on the left side halfway up the set of stairs.
12. Run! Choji Express = Sai: Upstairs on the path to the PVP arena (Hokage’s Estate), on the left side halfway up the set of stairs.
13. Storming the Akatsuki Fortress = Mitsuki: Stands at the market square, to the right of Sasuke (Ninjutsu Library)
14. The Inescapable Water Prison = Tenten: She’s the shopkeeper on the left side of the market square.
15. Team 7 Battle = Tenten: She’s the shopkeeper on the left side of the market square.
16. Byakugan = Hinata Uzumaki: At the entrance to the left garden, on the road under the tall red gate.
17. Akatsuki Battle = Hinata Uzumaki: At the entrance to the left garden, on the road under the tall red gate.
18. Checka-Checka-Check It Out! = Sarada Uchiha: She stands at the market place, to the left of Tenten (Ninja Tools Shop)
19. Kurama Battle = Sarada Uchiha: She stands at the market place, to the left of Tenten (Ninja Tools Shop)
20. Uchiha Power = Sasuke Uchiha: He’s the shopkeeper of the Ninjutsu Library at the market place
21. It’s Training Time = Naruto Uzumaki: He replaces Shikamaru Nara as the PVP manager at the top of the stairs (Hokage’s Estate)

At this point the official story ends and all remaining missions are unlocked automatically! That means no more running around and looking for people. The fifth S-Rank mission is the only one locked at this point. Complete all other missions to unlock it.
