Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Gap Locations (All Gaps)

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remake (PS4 / Xbox One / PC) has 536 Gap Locations. Finding All Gaps unlocks the Gap Master trophy or achievement. The gaps are jumps and grinds you need to do in very specific locations. Without knowing where they are it would be hard to figure them out.

None of the gaps are missable! You can replay every level as often as you like and redo everything.

It’s highly recommended to max out the stats of a skater first (by finding their skill point tokens across the different levels). This makes some gaps much easier. This way you also get familiar with the controls. It’s also good to grab the 19 Alien Plushies first as they make you go to secret areas (helps learn the level layouts).

You should also be playing in Free Skate with Game Mods turned on. This makes it a lot easier. To enter Free Skate: from the main menu where you see THPS1 & THPS2 game select, pick the third icon “Free Skate” > Select Level > “Free Skate”. To turn on Game Mods: open the Pause Menu > Game Options > Game Mods > Assists. You can use any of the assists, it won’t void the trophy.

To see which gaps you’ve done and which you haven’t, go to Pause Menu (while playing a level) > Game Options > View Gaps. The ones you’ve done are white and show how many times you performed then (1 will suffice). The ones you haven’t done will be grayed out.

All gaps are shown in this video (text and screenshots wouldn’t really be helpful for many of the gaps). The order is the same as the in-game gaps list. This makes it easier for you to follow and locate your needed gaps. Below all gaps are also listed in their in-game order. The only exception is the last level “Skate Heaven”, here a custom order is used to save time. Skate Heaven is only unlocked after having done the Goals in all other levels.

Recommended usage: There are two ways to go about this. The most straightforward way is to replicate the video gap for gap. However, if you’ve done the above-mentioned preparations you will already have done several playthroughs and will have completed many gaps. Open your Gap Checklist after loading up a level and note down which ones you did. Those you can skip to save some time.
