Deathloop Search the Fristad Shore & Photograph Location

Search the Fristad Shore is a story objective of the Space Invader story arc in Deathloop. It requires you to find the location of where the photo of the lovers was taken in Fristad Rock, near the shoreline. What makes this one of the more tricky story objectives, is that there’s no map marker for it. You need to search for it yourself and it’s pretty well hidden.

Before you can do this, you must have unlocked the objective. You will know this is the case when you see “Search the Fristad Shore” in the Visonary Leads under the Space Invader questline and are able to track it from there. You must have completed the other objectives in the “Space Invader” questline first.

Follow the below steps exactly to solve this objective:

1. Go to Fristad Rock in the Afternoon. You can advance time in the menu where you select your loadout between areas. It has to be afternoon, doesn’t work at other daytimes (can’t be morning, noon, or night).
2. After loading into the map, take the door to the right up the stairs.
   
3. This leads outside to a small area with 4 enemies. Here you must turn RIGHT to get to a snowy path between the rocks.
   
4. This leads to an area with the shoreline on the right and a crashed plane stuck in the water.
   
5. Stay on the far right edge of this area, follow the shoreline all the way to the end, past the crashed plane in the water (shoreline leads to the back of a mountain).
   
6. At the end of the shoreline is a bunker entrance. Go inside.
   
7. Inside the bunker, read the book sitting in the middle of the computer console with 4 screens. Also play the audio log while you’re here.
   

This solves the Search the Fristad Shore objective and unlocks the Find the Cipher objective. You can now exit the area the same way you came, there’s nothing else to do there for now. Don’t worry about the puzzle with the data cassettes inside the bunker, it can’t be solved at this point in the story yet.
