In Dragon Ball Sparking Zero you can summon Shenron to grant you a wish. To do this you must first obtain all 7 Dragon Balls.
How to Get Dragon Balls
Method #1: Whis’s Stamp Book
Go to Challenges & Missions > Whis’s Stamp Book. Here you will see some challenges with a Shenron icon on them (green dragon icon). Complete these mini tasks. They are basic things like completing 5 tutorials from the battle training.
After you completed the 7 challenges, return to this menu and click on the challenges to redeem the gift. Now switch to Zen-Oh’s Orders menu and redeem the gifts there too to unlock the Dragon Balls. Basically, each of the Shenron challenges in Whis’s Stamp Book unlocks a Gift in Zen-Oh’s Orders which then gives the Dragon Balls.
This method can only be done once however. The Whis’s Stamp Book missions don’t respawn so you can only get dragon balls through this method one time.
Method #2: From Offline Battles against CPU
You can always gain more Dragon Balls by playing the mode Battle & Training > Battle > Offline > P1 vs. CPU. Win any 1 vs. 1 battles, it doesn’t matter what map you pick and what characters. They are entirely random match rewards, they sometimes unlock in the rewards screen after the match. They have roughly a 10% drop rate as a reward after the match. Meaning, you should get 1 Dragon Ball every 10 wins on average.
A quick way to farm them is to pick an opponent with low health. Gohan (Teen) has the lowest health. In character select press R1/RB to switch the opponent character. What character you play and what map you pick doesn’t matter. How you win the match also doesn’t matter. Afterward you can immediately rematch and keep playing matches until you are rewarded with a dragon ball. You will only get one at a time, to farm all 7 you should plan in one hour or about 60-70 match wins.
Method #3: Deluxe/Ultimate Edition Bonus
If you have the Deluxe/Ultimate Edition you get one free summon of Shenron from the start.
How to Summon Shenron
After unlocking all 7 regular Dragon Balls (not the Super Dragon Balls or Namekian Dragon Balls), go to the “Come Forth” Menu and choose “Summon Shenron”. Select any of the wishes and the trophy will unlock.
Shenron Wishes
Shenron lets you pick 1 of 4 wishes per summon:
- I want more Zeni (300,000 Zeni)
- I want to raise my Player Level (gives a random number of level-ups to your player level)
- I want more titles (King / Delightful Lover / King of the World)
- I want new outfits (Yamcha Outfit / Master Roshi Outfit / Goku Super Outfit / Vegeta Super Outfit)
- I want to complete an Episode Battle (this option isn’t always available)
