Dragon’s Dogma 2 Masked Correspondence Walkthrough

Masked Correspondence is a side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Masked Correspondence side mission.

• Starting Location: Vernworth Castle
• Quest Giver: Sven
• Requirement: Complete Seat of the Sovran main quest, likely also have completed The Ornate Box side quest
• Reward: 900 XP, 6000 G, 1 x Onyx
• Quest Description: Sven bade you deliver a letter to a potential ally in his stead, as Disa does not allow him to attend masquerades – and there is no better opportunity for covert correspondence.

Objectives:

1. Deliver the letter to Lord Patrick
2. Report back to Regentkin Sven

Starting Location: Masked Correspondence

To start this quest, head into Vernworth Castle to 2F and enter Sven’s Chambers located in the northwest corner. Speak with Sven and agree to help.

Deliver the letter to Lord Patrick

Sven wants your help delivering a letter to Lord Patrick, who will be at the masquerade at night in Vernworth Hall. You should already have the disguise for this from completing the main quest The Stolen Throne, so use the mask and courtly set to enter without being bothered. If you got rid of the mask and can’t find another courtly set around the castle you can repurchase the items from Ibrahim’s Scrap Store in the Checkpoint Rest Town.

In the hall, Lord Patrick is fairly easy to spot as he is wearing a black and gold mask that only covers his eyes (does not have the lion mouth or mane like every other male) and a bright blue cape.

Report back to Regentkin Sven

After delivering the letter, you can head back to Sven’s Chambers to let him know it was delivered to complete the quest.

This finishes the Masked Correspondence side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
