Dragon’s Dogma 2 The Regentkin’s Resolve Walkthrough

Regentkin’s Resolve is a side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Regentkin’s Resolve side mission.

  • Starting Location: Unmoored World > Vernworth > The Stardrop Inn
  • Quest Giver: Captain Brant
  • Requirement: Started Halls of the First Dawn side quest
  • Reward: 20,000 XP, Wyrmslife Crystal x35, 25,000 G

Objectives:

  1. Aid the Evacuation in Vermund
  2. Bring Disa to Sven
  3. Threaten Allard and claim the Oxcarts
  4. Begin the Evacuation in Vermund

Starting Location: Regentkin’s Resolve

The quest starts in The Stardrop Inn of Vernworth. Talk to Captain Brant there.

Aid the Evacuation in Vermund

You must speak to Sven in Vernworth Castle. He’s upstairs (2F) in the room in the northwest corner, called “Sven’s Chambers”.

 

Bring Disa to Sven

You must bring Sven’s mother “Disa” to him. She’s upstairs in the castle too (2F). Go to the room in the northeast corner next to the stairs.

A maid will stand outside and talk to you, then you can go through the door. Disa will talk to you upon entering. Afterward carry her with R2/RT to Sven’s Chambers and put her in front of Sven. She will cry out for guards but don’t worry, they won’t attack you. Sven will automatically talk to Disa when placing her next to him.

Threaten Allard and claim the Oxcarts

Go to the Oxcart station in the northwest of Vernworth. Approach Allard who is standing in front of the Oxcarts, he will automatically talk to you. Then you must tackle him with R2/RT to subdue him. This will scare him and he’ll run off and leaves the Oxcarts to you.

Begin the Evacuation in Vermund

Report back to Sven to finish this quest. With this you will also have successfully evacuated the people of Vermund region (it also evacuates the people of other villages in the Vermund region, not just Vernworth).

This finishes Regentkin’s Resolve side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
