Introduction

Welcome to the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC #3: Dynasty Upheaval in Jingxiang Trophy Guide! The third and final expansion to Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty “Upheaval in Jingxiang” introduces 12 new Battlefields, new Demons, and the Whip weapon. To reach 100%, you need to play through all 12 Battlefields (3 Main, 9 Sub) and unlock a variety of miscellaneous trophies. The entire DLC can be played on the easiest difficulty setting (Crouching Dragon). It will feel even easier if you played the game on the Rising or Soaring Dragon difficulty. If you did, you can rely on higher tier gear, making it easier. That said, it is the hardest DLC of the pack due to the Sub Battlefield called The Gathering of Demons.

Step 1: Complete all Main and Sub Battlefields, All Battle Flags, All Shitieshou Collectibles

Play through the Main and Sub Battlefields. As you explore each Battlefield, you need to raise all Battle Flags for :bronze: Benefactor of Jing Province. These are all very easy to locate as they are clearly visible on the main path. You can ignore all Marking Flags.

Additionally, check :bronze: Maniac of Shitieshou to grab all the cute panda demons and unlock the trophy.

Lastly, you will eventually collect a Whip, the new weapon type introduced in this DLC. Once you have, level it up a bit at the Blacksmith at Mt. Tianzhushan and then defeat 100 enemies with it. Check :bronze: Whip of the Heaven for additional information on this weapon.

Step 2: Finish 100 Whip Kills, Summon Chenghuang, Swear an Oath with the New Reinforcements

You might still have to finish killing 100 enemies while wielding a Whip and still need :bronze: A Meteoric Rise. You will also most likely still need to swear an oath with your four new allies: Young Warrior, Lady Mi, Danfu, and Zhou Cang. Check the trophy descriptions below for anything you have left.

The DLC contains 29 Battle Flags. Just like in the main game, Battle Flags allow you to level up, setting your Divine Beast, learning Wizardry Spells, and calling up Reinforcements. All Battle Flags are on the main path and are very easy to see. Here’s an overview of all Main and Sub Battlefields and how many Battle Flags each contains:

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC #3: Dynasty Upheaval in Jingxiang Trophy Guide & Roadmap Whip of the Heaven
Defeated 100 enemies using whips.
Bronze
The DLC introduces a new weapon type, the whip. You can acquire a whip in a variety of ways: by opening chests, killing enemies, completing certain Main and Sub battlefields, or by buying them at Zuo Ci’s for 1,500 Accolades in his hut opposite the Battle Flag at Mt. Tianzhushan.

Once you have a good whip, power it up at the Blacksmith at Mt. Tianzhushan and then equip it. Now use this weapon until you get 100 kills with it. If needed, you can reset the area at any Battle Flag to respawn the enemies. An easy method is to travel to Village of Calamity main battlefield (Part 1). By this point in the game, you should be overleveled and will likely kill them in 1-2 hits. Reset the area at any Battle Flag and rinse and repeat.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC #3: Dynasty Upheaval in Jingxiang Trophy Guide & Roadmap A Meteoric Rise
Summoned Chenghuang for the first time.
Bronze
The DLC introduces a new Divine Beast, Chenghuang.  Chenghuang is an unmissable, story-related unlock for completing the “The Rampant Demon Emperor” main battlefield. Once you’ve acquired it, go to any Battle Flag > Battle Preparation > Set Divine Beast and choose Chenghuang. When the Divine Beast gauge is full, press :circle: + :triangle: at the same time to unleash it in battle and unlock this trophy.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC #3: Dynasty Upheaval in Jingxiang Trophy Guide & Roadmap Heroes Gather
Swore oaths with all of the new allies in Upheaval in Jingxiang.
Bronze
The DLC introduces 4 new Reinforcements: Guan Ping, Lady Mi, Danfu, and Zhou Cang. Swearing oaths with all of them means reaching level 10 with each ally. There’s a fast and slow way to do this: the fast way is dependent on how many Cups of Cordiality you own. The more you have, the easier it will be to reach level 10 as each Cup of Cordiality increases the chosen ally’s level by one.

Alternatively, just play normally and your allies will steadily level up whenever you join forces with them as part of the story. When they’re not automatically with you, you can speed up this process by calling them up for reinforcement from the dedicated menu at Battle Flags if the game allows for it and making sure you send them over to enemies ( :r1: + or  ).

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC #3: Dynasty Upheaval in Jingxiang Trophy Guide & Roadmap Maniac of Shitieshou
Fed every Shitieshou in Upheaval in Jingxiang.
Bronze
Shitieshou are the demon panda collectibles that were already in the main game and previous DLC. Here are the locations of all the Shitieshou in this DLC:

Desolate Waterside Village

  1. From the start of the level, continue up the hill until you find the first Battle Flag of the battlefield. Go down the swampy ledges and flank the right side of the area until you come across a Zhuyan. Go past it and up the next few ledges until you come to a shrine next to which is this Shitieshou.
  2. Continue on the main path and go past the second Battle Flag when you find it. Continue along the corrupted pond with a bunch of demons and climb up the next ledge. Now drop down the ledges past the house on the right to find this Shitieshou.

Calamities in the Cinnabar Caves

  1. From the beginning of the level, make your way to the very bottom until you enter a blue-lit tunnel with red crystals. At the end of the tunnel is a prison. Inside one of the cells is this Shitieshou.

The Rampant Demon Emperor

  1. After destroying Crystal 2 (see trophy :bronze: The Dark Clouds Past), turn over, but don’t return to the muddy water section. Instead, go past it and drop down the ladder you see near a fire purple lantern. In this next room is the Shitieshou on a shelf.
  2. Go back up the ladder and continue up the stairs on your left. In the next room, destroy the pulsating crystal and then open the gate past where the Leishi was. Drop down the ladder in the next hallway and you’ll find this Shitieshou.
  3. In the same area where you’ve destroyed Crystal 5 (see trophy :bronze:m The Dark Clouds Past), climb up the mushroom-looking plants until you get to the ledge with this Shitieshou.

The Loyal and Brave Servant

  1. After raising the third Battle Flag, you’ll find it on your right under a shrine up a ledge.

The Governor’s Lost Property

  1. After emerging from the caves and opening the door, check the right side past a Huoshu.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC #3: Dynasty Upheaval in Jingxiang Trophy Guide & Roadmap Premonition of War
Defeated all Shrimp Soldiers polluting the water in “Desolate Waterside Village.”
Bronze
Main Battlefield: Desolate Waterside Village

Throughout the first half of the battlefield, you will find several pools of corrupted water being polluted by Shrimp Soldier demons. For this trophy, simply kill all Shrimp Soldier demons in the level. All demons are easy to see.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC #3: Dynasty Upheaval in Jingxiang Trophy Guide & Roadmap The Dark Clouds Part
Destroyed all resonating crystals in “The Rampant Demon Emperor.”
Bronze
Main Battlefield: The Rampant Demon Emperor

Here are the locations of all resonating crystals:

  1. Crystal #1: As soon as you enter the temple, follow the path on the right to the very end.
  2. Crystal #2: Return to the main hall and get upstairs and head on your immediate left. Open the gate, go past the slowing mud and you’ll find this crystal on your right.
  3. Crystal #3: Turn over, but don’t return to the muddy water section. Instead, go past it and drop down the ladder you see near a fire purple lantern for a brief Shitieshou detour. Then, go back the ladder and continue up the stairs on your left and into the next room with a bunch of demons.
  4. Crystal #4: You’ll soon reach a big staircase leading towards the boss area. When you do, kick the ladder that leads down to a Battle Flag you will have raised before and drop down. Face the Battle Flag and the ladder and go behind them. Follow the path until you reach an area on fire. In one of the side rooms on the ground floor of the area is this crystal.
  5. Crystal #5: Continue past the room on fire and upstairs into a garden where you can find the last crystal.

Most of the DLCs have been manageable in co-op. There are always a few missions that don’t allow co-op and 1 or 2 of them are a boss fight that suck a bunches.

How is the difficulty only 5? Yuan Shu even on normal game feels impossible. I’m 54 levels over the recommended level and can’t even finish off the first phase. No boss even comes close to.being this hars in the entire game.

Because you can do it in any difficulty, so if you reached NG+3 (or 4 with this DLC), doing that new region in NG is like a 1/10.
