Introduction

Welcome to the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC #1: Battle of Zhongyuan Trophy Guide! The first of three expansions, the Battle of Zhongyuan introduces 10 new Battlefields, 2 new Demons, and the cestuses weapon. To reach 100%, you need to play through all 10 Battlefields (3 Main, 7 Sub) and unlock a variety of miscellaneous trophies. The entire DLC can be played on the easiest difficulty setting (Crouching Dragon). It will feel even easier if you played the game on the Rising Dragon difficulty when it launched. If you did, you can rely on higher tier gear, making it even easier.

Step 1: Complete all Main and Sub Battlefields, All Battle Flags, All Shitieshou, Summon Feilian

Play through the Main and Sub Battlefields. As you explore each Battlefield, you need to raise all Battle Flags for :bronze: Dominator of Zhonyuan. These are all very easy to locate as they are clearly visible on the main path. You can ignore all marking Flags.

Additionally, check :bronze: Fan of Shitieshout to grab all the cute panda demons and unlock the trophy.

Lastly, you will eventually collect a pair of Cestuses, the new fist-type weapon introduced in this DLC. Once you have, level them up a bit at the Blacksmith at Mt. Tianzhushan and then start killing 100 enemies with it. Check :bronze: Don’t Think, Feel for additional information if needed.

Step 2: Finish Killing 100 Enemies, :bronze: Beware of Fire!, Swear an Oath with Dian Wei and Xu Chu

During Step 2, you might have to finish killing 100 enemies while wielding the cestuses and still need :bronze: Beware of Fire!. You will also most likely still need to swear an oath with your two new allies, Dian Wei and Xu Chu. Check the relevant trophy descriptions below for anything you have left.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC #1: Battle of Zhongyuan Trophy Guide & Roadmap Don’t Think, Feel
Defeated 100 enemies using cestuses.
Bronze
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s The Battle of Zhongyuan DLC introduces a new weapon type, the cestuses. These are fist-like weapons with which you can increase your Spirit by up to 3 levels when equipped, with each level granting certain positive effects. You can acquire cestuses in a variety of ways: by opening chests, killing enemies, completing certain Main and Sub battlefields, or by buying them at Zuo Ci’s for 500 Accolades in his hut opposite the Battle Flag at Mt. Tianzhushan.

Once you have a good set of cestuses, power them up at the Blacksmith at Mt. Tianzhushan and then equip them. If possible, use this weapon from now on and try to get as many kills with them as possible. If needed, you can reset the area at any Battle Flag to respawn the enemies. If you’re struggling, travel to Village of Calamity main battlefield. By this point in the game, you should be overleveled and will likely kill them in 1-2 hits. Reset the area at any Battle Flag and rinse and repeat.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC #1: Battle of Zhongyuan Trophy Guide & Roadmap Chasing the Wind
Summoned Feilian for the first time.
Bronze
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s The Battle of Zhongyuan DLC introduces a new Divine Beast, Feilian. Feilian is an unmissable, story-related unlock for completing the In Name of Elai main battlefield. Once you’ve acquired it, go to any Battle Flag > Battle Preparation > Set Divine Beast and choose Feilian. When the Divine Beast gauge is full, press :circle: and :triangle: at the same time to unleash it in battle and unlock this trophy. For reference, here’s a screenshot with Feilian’s stats.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC #1: Battle of Zhongyuan Trophy Guide & Roadmap The Sage Pauses when Guests Call
Swore oaths with all of the new allies in Battle of Zhongyuan.
Bronze
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s The Battle of Zhongyuan DLC introduces two new Reinforcements, Dian Wei and Xu Chu. Swearing oaths with both of them means reaching level 10 with each ally. There’s a fast and slow way to do this: the fast way is dependent on how many Cups of Cordiality you own. The more you have, the easier it will be to reach level 10 as each Cup of Cordiality increases the chosen ally’s level by one.

Alternatively, just play normally and your allies will steadily level up whenever you join forces with them as part of the story. When they’re not automatically with you, you can speed up this process by calling them up for reinforcement from the dedicated menu at Battle Flags if the game allows for it and making sure you send them over to enemies ( :r1: + or  ).

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC #1: Battle of Zhongyuan Trophy Guide & Roadmap Fan of Shitieshou
Fed every Shitieshou in Battle of Zhongyuan.
Bronze
In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s The Battle of Zhongyuan DLC the cute Shitieshou demon panda make a comeback. Below you can find the locations of all the Shitieshou in the DLC.

A Solitary Resistance

  1. When you reach the second part of the village shortly after the start of the level, climb up the wooden scaffolding on the left and you’ll find this on a rooftop on your right.

Sons of the Yellow Heaven

  1. Halfway through the level you’ll reach an area with a warlock mage controlling the surrounding enemies. Right of his location, there’s a roof access which leads you to a hole on the rooftop itself. Drop down to find the Shitieshou.

In the Name of Elai

  1. After getting through the town, you’ll reach a small yard where you have to defeat a new type of demon creature called Houdou. After defeating it proceed to the next yard with a bunch of demonized officers, fanatics, and soldiers and flank the right side until you can find some bamboo you can slash through. Then, climb up the right ledge to find this Shitieshou.

A Requiem for the Deceased

  1. From the start of the level, exit the building and cross the bridge. Defeat the demons and then go behind the buildings opposite the bridge itself. Here, behind two more demons, is the Shitieshou.

An Everlasting Regret

  1. After going down the trunk and entering the big yard, go to the middle section where there are three Shuigui. Here is a small side ledge you can climb to destroy some bamboo behind which is the Shitieshou.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC #1: Battle of Zhongyuan Trophy Guide & Roadmap Beware of Fire!
Struck 3 enemies with a single Oil Pot explosion in Yuan City.
Bronze
Main Battlefield: In the Name of Elai

Shortly after the start of the level, you will reach a town with many streets. On some of these streets are oil jars. The easiest and fastest way to unlock this trophy is to first equip the Fire Pot in your Inventory, then get spotted by at least three enemies and lure them towards the oil jar. Once three enemies are close to the oil jar, cast your Fire Pot and if everything goes well, the explosion will strike them, thus unlocking this trophy.

I think it has a few secret requirements from what I’ve read elsewhere (still haven’t unlocked it myself). Apparently we need to:
      Complete all DLC main quests
      Complete all DLC sub-quests
Find three hidden scrolls (only found one so far) in DLC quests quests
Max bond with both new DLC allies

As stated in the guide, if you’ve maxed out the two new reinforcement allies from the DLC, your only option is to max out another ally. How quickly you can do this depends on how many Cups of Cordiality you have.
