Legacy of the Rito is a Side Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Legacy of the Rito side mission.
Location: Hebra > Rito Village
Quest Giver: Teba
Requirement: Complete the Wind Temple
Reward: Great Eagle Bow
Quest Info: Having bequeathed his beloved bow to Tulin, Teba says he intends to craft a new Great Eagle Bow for himself. He’s willing to make one for you as well, if you collect all the necessary materials. He will need a swallow bod, five bundles of wood, and three diamonds.
Objectives:
- Speak to Teba
- Collect the Sallow Bow
- Collect 5 bundles of wood
- Collect 3 diamonds
- Return to Teba
Starting Location: Legacy of the Rito
Speak to Teba
Head to the location above and speak with the elder, Teba. Teba will explain what he wants in this quest.
Collect the Sallow Bow
Head to the following location:
Once there you will see two large ice formations on the base of the cliff:
Head over to the ice formation on the right and use Fire fused arrows to melt the ice or a ruby/fire attached to a weapon or shield. Once it has melted open the chest to collect the bow:
5 Bundles of Wood Locations
Any 5 bundles of wood will work for this portion. If you don’t have enough wood head to the Hebra Trailhead Lodge located just Southeast of the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower where you will find 5 bundles of wood outside on the side of the building you can take:
3 Diamond Locations
You can find these as a reward for certain shrines and also as a rare drop from ores. The Goron Shop in Goron Village has 3 of these for sale for 1,000 Rupees each:
You can also find them in Ore Deposits in caves. The Ore deposits sparkle gold but aren’t guaranteed to drop Diamonds:
Save in front of the ore deposit and break it open. If one doesn’t drop from the deposit simply Load your save and try again for different results.

Return to Teba
Once you have gathered the materials above return to Teba in Rito Village and give him the materials to complete this quest.
