The Engraver’s Riddle is the 131st side quest in Ni No Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom. This walkthrough will show you what Ring to give to Grampuss to solve The Engraver’s Riddle Side Quest.
Quest Starting Location
- Location: Ding Dong Dell (quest icon on map)
- Requirement: Reached Chapter 9 + Research very high-level accessories at Outfitter
- Quest Giver: Grampuss
The quest starts by talking to Grampuss in Ding Dong Dell.
Solve Grampuss’ Riddle, Give him the Correct Ring
You must bring Grampuss the “Underdog’s Ring”. It can be crafted at the Outfitter in Evermore. You must research accessories until it becomes available for crafting.

The required materials can all be farmed from facilities in Evermore. Once the Underdog’s Ring is crafted, return with it to the quest giver and give it to him.
Grampuss will now join you as a citizen in Evermore. This concludes the Engraver’s Riddle quest.
