Dead Space Remake Chapter 12: Dead Space Collectibles Locations

January 26, 2023 by Archavia 15 Comments

Chapter 12: Dead Space contains 17 Collectible Locations in Dead Space Remake. This walkthrough is updated for the PS5 Remake version and will guide you to all collectibles in Chapter 12: Dead Space in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included: Logs, Schematics, Weapons, Weapon Upgrades, Suit Upgrades, Nodes, Side Missions, Chapter-Specific Trophies, Marker Fragments.

Everything located on the USG Ishimura is unmissable until the Point of No Return at the end of Chapter 11: Alternate Solutions, except for a small number of action-dependent logs that only trigger when doing certain actions at specific story points. The guide will list everything when it first becomes available in an efficient order, but if you miss anything you can go through the Ishimura when you have full access in Chapter 11. Everything in Chapter 9: Dead On Arrival is missable, so be sure to collect everything during this chapter. Marker Fragments are only available in New Game+. You can still grab missing Collectibles in New Game Plus, all progress carries over.

      Still a mystery.

    Maybe the three missing logs are for not doing/completing the side quests. There are three side questlines after all. Not sure if anyone has tried that yet.

      Saw a video and found out one of the missing logs is called “Unknown”. It is obtained by going to the Break Room located at the Bridge and standing within the ritual circle and performing the ritual by following the symbols around the circle.

      Hand = Punch
      Foot = Stomp

      Punch, Stomp, Stomp, Stomp, Punch, Stomp, Punch, Stomp, Stomp, Stomp, Punch, Stomp.

      Wouldn’t be surprised if this is how to obtain the other two logs, just need to figure out the inputs.

    Here, the Divine Seal Room refers to a lounge in Chapter 4, not the room in the Captain’s dormitory in Chapter 10 that can trigger the end of the second week.

    But the room next to the captain’s dormitory has a series of passwords that can be entered here. You can enter them by standing in the circle. The order is: fist, fist, kick, fist, fist, kick, kick, fist, fist, fist, fist, kick, kick, kick. You will gain two energy nodes.

    In addition, you can also obtain a text by entering the password clockwise according to the pattern in the circle. Fingerprints correspond to fists, and footprints correspond to feet.

    I only have 1 new addition to add to the Easter Egg codes, but here are all three together, with melee (handprint) and stomp (footprint).

    “Unknown” Text Log (code inside the circle)
    Melee, Stomp, Stomp, Stomp, Punch, Stomp, Punch, Stomp, Stomp, Stomp, Punch, Stomp

    “Strange Shanty” Audio Log (code split across 6 locations)
    Melee, Stomp, Melee, Melee, Stomp, Melee, Stomp, Melee, Melee, Melee, Melee, Stomp

    2x Power Nodes (code inside captain’s room)
    Melee, Melee, Stomp, Melee, Melee, Stomp, Stomp, Melee, Melee, Melee, Stomp, Stomp

      Thank you for this, I’ll add them to Chapter 4!

    There seems to be only one missing at this point. Unknown and Strange Shanty are unlocked through the ritual circle and I believe the last one most likely is unlocked there too.

    The final side mission log is “Custom Lockdown”. You get it by NOT starting the side mission to collect the rigs in the Captain’s Nest in Chapter 4. Later, when you reach Mining in chapter 7, trying to open the Master Clearance Door will get you a log from Kendra.

      Should point out that this also works in New Game Plus, even if you already have the Master Clearance key. Just don’t interact with the computer in the Captain’s Nest.
