Cold Steel, Hot Blood is the 25th main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance (KCD). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Cold Steel, Hot Blood Main Quest.
Cold Steel, Hot Blood triggers during the Siege Main Quest.
What’s special is that “Siege” will be put on hold until this and other main quests are completed.
When you’re ready, go to the battleground
The battleground is marked on the map north-west of Talmberg. Go there and the screen will fade to black to trigger a new objective.
Hold
Just keep hiding in the bushes with your soldiers until this objective completes on its own. The enemy will attack you automatically.
Defend the ford!
Defeat all of the enemies. Your allies will do most of the job, you can just watch or help out if you like.
Merciful trophy/achievement: If you’re on your no kills run, attack enemies with your bare fists only! It will only knock them out but not kill them. Keep hammering them in the face with quick strikes, it drains their stamina very fast and knocks them out.
Help Sir Hanush
After defeating the first wave of enemies, you’ll get another fade to black. Just follow your soldiers (or follow the noise, in the direction where the sound of combat is loudest). It’s not marked on the map but Hanush is nearby, just a few meters away across a bridge from where you just fought.
The fight won’t last long, just defeat one or two soldiers and it should be done.
