Three Poignant Perfumes is the third subquest in Chapter 1: Act 2, Archaic Lord, an Archon Quest in Genshin Impact. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Three Poignant Perfumess Archon Subquest.
Three Poignant Perfumes is unlocked automatically when you finish Moonfinger.
Region: Liyue

Mission Description: Gather Silk Flowers to offer to the Geo Archon.
Objectives:
- Go and buy Silk Flowers
- Seek Lan’s advice
- Seek Qiming’s advice
- Seek Ying’er’s advice
- Rendezvous with Ying’er
- Fetch some water
- Talk to Ying’er
- Grind the Silk FLowers to extract the essence (3)
- Give the Silk Flower Essence to Ying’er
- Offer the perfumes to the Statue of the Seven
Starting Location: Liyue Harbor
The Silk Flower vendor sets up shop on the north end of Liyue Harbor on the dock.
What makes this a bit tricky is that the vendor, Bolai, is posted up underneath the main dock.
Glide down from the ramp into the lower dock and speak to Bolai about buying Silk Flowers.
Seek Lan’s advice
Lan stands right next to Liyue’s Kathryne.
Talk to her about the way she smells, and it leads to her referencing who can help make the perfume, Qiming.
Seek Qiming’s advice
Head east down the path to find Qiming to your left as the dock opens up.
She says she avoids making perfume. Then, she directs you to speak to Ying’er.
Seek Ying’er’s advice
Head back to the nearby Teleport Waypoint and follow the stone path to the left that goes up. Don’t go all the way to the fence.
Ying’er expected you and offers to help craft the perfume.
Rendezvous with Ying’er
Face south from the doorway and run through the alley between the buildings.
Run into Wanmin Restaurant and speak with Ying’er.
Fetch some water
Exit the restaurant and run behind the building and draw some water from a bucket.
Talk to Ying’er
Go back into the restaurant and talk to Ying’er. She gives you a quick tutorial on how to extract the scent from the flowers.
Grind the Silk Flowers to extract the essence (3)
Head left and run over to the crafting bench next to the Teleport Waypoint.
Craft a Golden House Maiden Essential Oil, a Valley Weaver Essential Oil, and a Fate’s Yearning Essential Oil.
Give the Silk Flower Essence to Ying’er
Run back to the restaurant and speak to Ying’er. She helps you finalize the perfumes.
Offer the perfumes to the Statue of the Seven
The nearest Statue of the Seven is north of Liyue on the main path between Liyue and Mondstadt. Teleport to that Statue of the Seven.
Speak to Zhongli.
The Statue of the Seven responds more to the third perfume. No matter what dialogue choices you use, the outcome remains the same.
Finishing this cutscene completes the Three Poignant Perfumes subquest.
