Guizhong is the sixth subquest in Chapter 1: Act 2, Archaic Lord, an Archon Quest in Genshin Impact. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Guizhong Archon Subquest.
Guizhong is unlocked automatically when you finish Downtown.

Mission Description: Get some Everlasting Incense for the Rite of Parting.
Objectives:
- Go to Bubu Pharmacy
- Find the source of the mystery voice
- Inspect the Guizhong Ballista
- Find Qiqi back at the Bubu Pharmacy
- Put the Everlasting Incense in place
Starting Location: Liyue
Go to Bubu Pharmacy
Head to the very northwest corner of Liyue Harbor. Bubu Pharmacy is found at the top of a long staircase northwest of the closest Teleport Waypoint.
Find the source of the mystery voice
Approach the counter in the pharmacy. Here, you meet Qiqi.
She asks you to hunt a Cocogoat in exchange for the Everlasting Incense.
Look for the Guizhong Ballista
Head west out of Liyue. The easiest way to get there is to step out of the pharmacy and look to the south. A path winds its way to the destination. Follow the path.
While you’re out there, grab the nearby Teleport Waypoint. Climb up the cliff face to the north.
From the Teleport Waypoint, glide down to the southwest and land next to the ballista in some ruins.
Inspect the Guizhong Ballista
Interact with the ballista. Zhongli asks you to find spare parts in the area to repair the ballista.
Face the east and glide into the stone window.
Inside you find four stoned chests, spare parts, and a weight block. Pick up the spare parts, open the chests, and stand on the weight circle to open the gates.
Go back to the ballista and interact with the ballista to have Zhongli repair it.
Three waves of treasure hoarders attack you.
Dispatch them. Afterward, the group talks about how Qiqi likely sent them on a fool’s errand.
Find Qiqi back at the Bubu Pharmacy
Head back to the pharmacy and talk to Qiqi. After some dialogue, the boss of the pharmacy, Baizhu, walks in.
He offers to sell the Everlasting Incense for 3 million Mora. Just like in the quest Downtown, Childe steps in and foots the bill.
Put the Everlasting Incense in place
Run back to the ritual site and talk to Zhongli.
Finishing this cutscene completes the Guizhong subquest.
