The Seedbearer’s Scripture is an item in Mortal Shell 2 that grants Cosmic Disease Resistance. It’s particularly helpful against the final boss.
The final boss does a unique type of damage, which inflicts a status called Cosmic Disease. This effect causes you to take damage over time for a very long time, or instantly knocks you out of your Shell if the amount goes to maximum. Like other damage types there is a Permanent Pickup item to help mitigate it which is highly recommended to be obtained before the final boss, but it is hidden unlike most other items.
Obtain Glands
The first step is to obtain three glands, which are hidden in the south three main boss areas in the overworld.
Conquered Temple (Thawed Gland)
In the Conquered Temple area, from the start of the area progress until you reach the second indoor area. Follow the path to the left past the first two enemies and pick up the Thawed Gland from the spot in front of the large stone head.
Withered Shoals (Depleted Gland)
In the Withered Shoals area after the Nameless Pass Beacon, progress toward where the drop into the boss room is, but only drop one level into the center of the tube structure. Walk backwards to the back where you can pick up the Depleted Gland off some bones.
Faded Citadel (Faded Gland)
In the Faded Citadel area at the Citadel Annex Beacon, turn around from the Beacon and drop down to the lower area where the Faded Gland is in the stone dish in the center of the area.
Offer Glands
Now with the time of day set to night go to the Sester’s Gate Beacon. Go to the southwest and drop to the lower level where there is a Bone Gate that leads to the tower area to the south.
Inside the tower you can find the corpse of the final boss from the first game. Interact with it to offer all three glands, which will then reward you with the Seedbearer’s Scripture item.
