Final Fantasy Resonance contains 177 Collectible Locations (8 Party Members & their Substories, 15 Cave Masters, 26 Visions, 9 Espers, 99 Tablet Shards, 12 Legendary Arms, 8 Adamantite).
Finding all Collectibles unlocks the following trophies & achievements:

– 15 Cave Masters - Will Crystallized – 26 Visions
- The Sovereigns of the Planet
– 9 Espers - Legendary Arms – 12 Legendary Arms

– 9 EspersNothing is missable in FF Resonance, there is still free roam after the story and all locations remain accessible. It is recommended to collect as much as possible as you progress through the story, particularly the Tablet Shards to reduce backtracking later. Make sure to periodically travel back to Oblivion Palace to claim your rewards! All 8 party members are automatic story-related unlocks, but their substories are optional quests which you can complete in later chapters.
Make sure to pick up Visions as you find them as they will grant you stat boosts and give you more options for your build later. Only one of the 26 requires you to battle him to obtain him, so there’s no reason at all not to collect them as you go along. On the other hand, Espers do require a battle to obtain but they are mostly levelled to where you are in the story, so there’s no reason to avoid picking them up either.
Feel free to kill any Cave Masters you come across during the story, although note that some will be a higher level than you and will be very tough until you come back later. Thankfully, the game is very user-friendly and after entering any location once (such as a Cave), you can fast travel there instantly later by selecting it on the menu, or by flying there on the airship in the overworld.
If you pick up a piece of Adamantite, it’s a good idea to complete Aileen’s sub-quest in Chapter 6 to get her onboard your airship, as she can use Adamantite to craft the best weapons in the game, in most cases even better than the Legendary Arms! The best approach is to grab what you find yourself during the story (ideally grab all Tablet Shards), then clean up everything else afterward in free-roam.
