Metamorphosis Trophy Guide & Roadmap

In the Village, there’s a bar (giant liquor bottle). To the right of the bar, there’s a blue bug standing next to some mushrooms you can talk to. He wants you to talk to the three bugs sitting at the bar behind you. To unlock this trophy, simply talk to each of the three bugs and then go back to the blue bug. Here’s the location of the blue bug.

In order to unlock this ending and its related trophy, you need to condemn Joseph at the end of Chapter 8 – The Tower. To do so, you need to do the following:

1. When you’re in the Verdictor room, go towards the red switch and roll on it to set the hand on 0. Then, press the button to activate a cutscene with Joseph.
2. After the cutscene, interact with the red switch again and set the hand on 1. Then, press the button and interact with the microphone to ask for the verdict.
3. After asking for the verdict, interact with the button on the left side of the room to make the verdict appear. Walk on some blue ink and sign it by pressing and holding . After that, press the button again to submit the document.
4. Now, go back to the red switch and set the hand on 3. Press the button and speak into the microphone to confirm your submission, betray and condemn Joseph. The trophy will unlock later one during the end credits (cannot be skipped).

In order to unlock this ending and its related trophy, you need to save Joseph at the end of Chapter 8 – The Tower. To do so, you need to do the following:

4. Now, go back to the red switch, but this time set the hand to the right of 3. This will activate the furnace. Press the button and speak into the microphone to confirm your submission and save Joseph. The trophy will unlock later one during the end credits (cannot be skipped).

During Chapter 7 – The Village you will need to look for a bug called Titorelli. Once you’ve found Titorelli, he will ask you to do several things for him. After you’ve taken care of the different assignments, go back to him and he will ask you to recruit some powerful bugs. When he tells you this, head for the area with the Preacher (found in front of the projector on a platform surrounded by many bugs and some matches). Talk to him and he will ask you to talk to some of the attending bugs. Once you’ve talked to enough bugs, you can return to him and unlock the trophy.

During Chapter 7 – The Village you will need to look for a bug called Titorelli. Once you’ve found Titorelli, he will ask you to do several things for him. After you’ve taken care of the different assignments, go back to him and he will ask you to recruit some powerful bugs. When he tells you this, head to the north-western part of the village (use or the picture below to find out where it is). Here is an area with many mushrooms and a purple-looking can. On the slope leading to it is bug carrying a card with Wisewoman written on it. Talk to him and then proceed to the to talk to the bug inside the can to unlock the trophy.

Here are the locations where it is possible to achieve these deaths:

• Water: during Chapter 2 – Joseph’s Room, immediately after taking to your first bug.
• Green Gas: found on a wooden floor, towards the end of Chapter 2 – Joesph’s Room.
• Electricity: during Chapter 4 – Lawyer’s Office when you need to fix the lawyer’s ledger. In the room where you need to power the desk’s ledger back is a broken, electrical cable.
• Squashing: towards the end of Chapter 5 – The Procedure. You’ll find compressors here.
• Fire: end of Chapter 5 – The Procedure. Simply enter the furnace to let yourself die
• Overbearing gravity: almost anywhere in the game.

Halfway through Chapter 4 – Lawyer’s Office you’ll be on the lawyer’s desk. Right in front of the lawyer, there’s an opening in the desk you can go through that gives you access to the insides of the desk. Make your way to the room with the contraption that powers the ledger back up and when you crawl back up to the desk, approach the red dial and set the date to June 3rd. Then, climb on the nearby bell to alert the lawyer. He will tell Joseph his trial date, thereby unlocking the trophy.

Shortly after meeting your fist bug, you will find yourself climbing up a comb. To the left of the comb, there’s a wall you can crawl up on. Make your way out of the drawer to unlock this trophy.

When you’re in the Verdictor room, go towards the red switch and roll on it to set the hand on 0. Then, press the button to activate a cutscene with Joseph. After the cutscene, interact with the red switch again and set the hand on 1. Then, press the button and interact with the microphone to ask for the verdict. After asking for the verdict, interact with the button on the left side of the room to make the verdict appear. Now walk on some blue ink. To unlock this trophy, you need to ink out Joseph’s name, the date, and Gregor’s name. The trophy will unlock immediately afterwards. You can unlock this trophy when you go for either one of the two endings.

At the end of Chapter 2 – Joseph’s Room, you’ll have to dry up the sewers to progress further. At some point, basically in the exact same location as where you met your first bug, you’ll find the same bug nibbling on an apple. To unlock this trophy, simply talk to him.
