This guide shows how to unlock the Sentinel Artifact in Voyage of Despair in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Zombies. The Sentinel Artifact is required to access the full map (it’s like turning on the power on other maps).
You’ll notice that some areas are blocked off with a red seal and say “You must first acquire the Sentinel Artifact”.
It is found on the other side of the ship from where you start. So you must go through the entire ship and reach the other end. We’ll go through it step by step what doors to open. If you have any trouble. play the Zombies tutorial, it also leads you there.
Step 1: Open the passage leading upstairs.
Step 2: Go through the captain’s cabin and at the end of it, open the next door. Behind it is a set of stairs leading down.
Step 3: Go 1 floor downstairs and open the next door.
Step 4: Go through the lounge until you come past the perk altar. To the right of it is an unlockable door.
Step 5: Here it starts getting easy to get off track. After going through the last door you’ll want to walk straight down the corridor with the white floor tiles (behind the door). Then you get outside on the ship’s deck. Outside on the ship’s deck go up the rubble on the right (circled in red). This can be easy to overlook.
Step 6: This leads you to the upper deck. Purchase the next passage there.
Step 7 (Final): And finally, you’ll reach the other side of the ship. There’s a big blue glowing artifact on top of a catwalk. Simply interact with it. 4 red orbs will fly out and hit the Pack-a-Punch pedestals around the map. All done, now you have the Sentinel Artifact and the whole map opens up!
