COD BO4 Voyage of Despair: Pack a Punch Guide

This guide shows how to unlock the Pack a Punch Machine (PaP) in Voyage of Despair in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Zombies. The Pack-a-Punch machine lets you upgrade your weapons for more damage. You must get the Sentinel Artifact and activate 4 Pack a Punch Pedestals around the map.

Step 1: First, you’ll want to unlock the Sentinel Artifact. The artifact is on the opposite side of the ship from where you start. Simply go through the entire ship and when you reach the other side it will be sitting on the outer deck. Picking up the Artifact makes 4 red orbs fly over the map, the orbs show you where the 4 Pack a Punch pedestals are. You must find them (as detailed below) and interact with all 4 pedestals. Step 2: The first Pack-a-Punch Pedestal is on the Poop Deck, just in front of where you picked up the Sentinel Artifact. See the location circled in red on the map with the red arrow pointing at it.

Step 3: The next pedestal is in the Turbine room. You can reach it from the Poop Deck. Picking up the Sentinel Artifact unlocked a path leading downstairs from the poop deck. The pedestal is underwater in the turbine room.

Step 4: The third one is in the Grand Staircase area, at the very bottom of the staircase, lowest floor.

Step 5: The fourth and last pedestal is in the Cargo Hold. This is again a flooded area and the PaP pedestal is underwater.

Done: After activating all 4 of these Pedestals the Pack-a-Punch machine will appear at the last spot you visited. It replaces the pedestal. It will always spawn where you interacted with the last pedestal. So if you don’t want it to spawn in spot #4, you could keep another pedestal for last. Using the Pack a Punch costs 5000 points. Re-packing your weapon costs 2500 points and adds elemental mods.
