I can see the boss specific ones that require you to do X will be a pain, possibly something NG+ or +1 once you’re a finely tuned Demon killing machine!

If they add back the state of the world and state of character like in PS3 the Rings Trophy will be more anoying. If not this will prob be the easiest of Souls games to Plat in my honest opinion 🙂

Character tendency and world tendency are untouched, but better explained now.

Hate online trophies that require other players so for me impossible so be playing this game to get to the end rather than trying to do everything to really get my money worth.

At least the online trophies are easy. You only have to win as an invader once and help someone as a white phantom once. Not too bad. Way better than some games like fighting games that are like “win 50 online matches” or something

Ugh. Why forced MP trophies? The ‘defeat boss X way’ trophies are going to be annoying, but I think I’d rather have the ‘Craft the best of X Stone’ back. I’m surprised they didn’t add ‘Have pure white/black world/character tendencies’.

If it’s anything like the first game, you will need perfect tendencies to get the rings and certain items (like Istarelle) both ways.

What is the “Searing Demon’s Soul” that you have to give to blacksmith Ed?

It’s a boss’s soul, so you will get it anyway.
Just don’t consume it. (never do that anyway as most boss souls have a specific usage)

you must follow all the tendencies to get all the rings

It’s the reward for killing Flamelurker. It’s what enables Ed to upgrade special weapons using the stones other than sharp and hard.
