In Dying Light The Beast contains 74 Blueprint Locations. For the Craftsman trophy/achievement you need to find or unlock 49 blueprints and fully upgrade them to Legendary status. They can be of any kind: weapons, gadgets, tools, consumables, or mods. Then by using the workbench, improve the blueprints until they’re all at Legendary status. Some weapons or blueprints will already be at Legendary status when you receive them, such as the Flamethrower or Grenade Launcher. Since you won’t have to upgrade them to make them Legendary, these weapons will not count towards the trophy/achievement progress (but they are included here too).
You can tell which ones will count because they will have three chevrons next to the weapon’s damage value. Whereas the weapons that started at Legendary (like the Flamethrower) will have no chevrons since it had no upgrade path.
Exclusive Deluxe Edition content, items from Pilgrim Outpost, and DLC items will all count towards your total, (as long as they don’t start out Legendary) and there are more than 49 available in the game.

Blueprint #21: Last Hand of gloVa
This one requires some explanation. Starting at the indicated location on the train bridge, go southwest (per map directions) until you reach the caved in tunnel.

On the right side of the wall you’ll see a slanted wall with a “9 3/4” painted on the bricks. For any Harry Potter fan, this is an easter egg that tells you exactly what you should do: walk through that wall. On the other side there’s a hallway that leads to another easter egg, this time from Minecraft. Break the blocks with your sword and follow the new hallway.
After going through several rooms this way, you’ll eventually emerge in the tunnel beyond the wreckage where the remains of a train is still on the tracks. Hop up on the traincar to find a fanny pack that will give you the blueprint.
Blueprint #22: Regeneration Booster

Blueprint #23: Resistance Booster

Knuckle Dusters
1-Handed (1H)
Blueprint #26: Beaver’s Stick
To get this hidden weapon there are a few hoops you have to jump through. On the north east (map directions) side of the map is a beaver dam that has broken down, and the logs have floated downriver.

First, there are six logs that you will have to fetch.
Next, bring all the logs back to the broken dam and place them where indicated.
Head to the Power Plant Safe Zone and rest for the night. When you come back to the dam in the morning, you’ll see that it had a pretty big effect on the water level upstream.
Dive into the deep water upstream of the dam, and swim straight at the rock wall. Just below the surface will be an underwater tunnel that leads to an underground cavern on the other side.
Follow that to its end to find a weird “Safe Zone”.
Sleep there overnight, and when you wake up an undead beaver mascot will be in the room. Kill them, then grab the Beaver’s Stick from the workbench to get the weapon and the blueprint.
Blueprint #27: Ciupaga
This axe is right above the balcony you stand on in the Side Quest Stay Human while having a drink with Liam.

Blueprint #30: Reforged Khanjar

Blueprint #31: Strauss & Broda Machete
Another hidden weapon, this time on the roof of Nate’s Market. Climb up using the section of broken exterior near the logo.
Once on the roof, enter the small room and inside you’ll find what looks like an electrical panel. You can’t open it, and all you’ll do is knock on it.
The secret is that you have to keep knocking, 77 times in fact. Finally the panel will open to reveal the Strauss & Broda Machete, which will also give you the blueprint.
Blueprint #32: Tempered Crowbar

Blueprint #33: The Breslau Blade
This weapon is actually hidden in plain sight, held by the statue right outside Town Hall from the beginning of the game. You may not be able to grab it right away though, as there’s a trick to getting it.
There are nine crests that you have to shoot, but you have to be able to do enough damage to the crests for them to be destroyed. When you do, you’ll hear four whistled notes.
#1 is right on the front of the statue.

#2 is on the other side of the statue’s pedestal.
#3 is on the colonnade to the right of Town Hall’s entrance.
#4 is in the same position on the colonnade to the right of Town Hall’s entrance.
#5 is above the archway next to the Trattoria sign.
#6 is next to the archway across from the Town Hall entrance.
#7 is just to the left of the same archway.
#8 is on the right side of the entrance to Town Hall but up on the side of one of it’s spires.
#9 is even further up, on the side of the clock tower itself.
Once you’ve destroyed all 9 crests, come back to the statue and examine the plaque on the pedestal. Fireworks will erupt to celebrate your success.
That’s not all, though. Climb up on top of the pedestal and you can now take The Breslau Blade, which will also give you the blueprint.
1.5-Handed (1.5H)
Blueprint #34: Expcalibur II
This hidden weapon is tied to an entire set of collectibles. First you’ll have to find all 8 Sigils (See Dying Light: The Beast All Sigils Locations guide for details) then take them to an unremarkable mountain at the location below. Use the roots on the side of the rock to start your climb to the top.
Once on top you’ll see Expcalibur II in a stone in the middle of an eight pointed star. At the tip of each point, interact to place one of the sigils in the formation.
This will summon a Chimera that you’ll have to fight on top of this very tall tower, and it just loves to charge at you. Defeat the Chimera and pull the sword from the stone.
Blueprint #36: Spectral Baseball Bat

Weapon Mods (Tips):
Blueprint #54: Venom
Purchased from Jenna, the vendor in the Exiles Cave.
Blueprint #56: Puff
You’ll have to solve a puzzle to get this mod. Go into the house below and you’ll find a safe and a note.
Reading the note doesn’t give much in the way of clues to the safe, except that it mentions UV light.
Shine a UV light on the board behind you and you’ll see a series of math problems that will give you the safe code. Note that the equations may change, so double check that you’re entering the right info to open the safe.
