Injustice 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap

May 16, 2017 by PowerPyx 32 Comments

Injustice 2 Trophy Roadmap

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10
  • Approximate amount of time to platinum: 50 hours (if you max out all chars with micro transactions) – 100 hours (if you farm XP with turbo controller) – 200+ hours (without any XP boosting)
  • Offline Trophies: 53 (51trophy, 1trophy, 1trophy)
  • Online Trophies: 10 (9trophy, 1trophy)
  • Number of missable trophies: 0
  • Glitched trophies: The loot box related trophies unlock a little bit later than they should (e.g. 70 epic gear instead of 50, or 140 boxes opened instead of 100). They are obtainable, you just need to open a few more boxes than the trophy description says. Same goes for the trophies tied to online matches, they may take a few more wins / matches played to unlock.
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No, can do everything on Very Easy
  • Minimum Playthroughs: 1 Story Playthrough & 28 Battle Simulator playthroughs (1 per character)

Introduction

Welcome to the Injustice 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap! This is a relatively easy platinum for a fighting game, it’s just a little bit time consuming. You can buy microtransactions with real money to max out all characters quickly, or you can use a Turbo Controller / Arcade Stick with Turbo Function to farm XP while you are away. There’s nothing missable and you can tackle the trophies in any order you like. The roadmap below shows the recommended way, but you could just as well start with the Multiplayer trophies and do the Story later – entirely up to you. The Multiplayer trophies can also be boosted and all singleplayer trophies can be earned on very easy difficulty. You can use a second controller to get miscellaneous combat trophies in local versus mode (this way your opponent won’t move). This platinum is very easily achievable for everyone, not really any fighting skills needed.

Patch 1.04 Update: Bronze Boxes now cost 5000 money instead of 1000. This means it’s 5 times more time consuming to unlock the Cat Fight trophy, which is the most time consuming task in the game. For this reason it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you play the game without the patch. Only install the patch after you’ve done all offline trophies (including Cat Call). You must disconnect from the internet in PS4 Settings > Network, otherwise it will download the patch in the background. If you install the patch it will make your save game incompatible with previous versions of the game, so downgrading no longer works (unless you back up your save game beforehand). With patch 1.04 it may take hundreds of hours longer to obtain the platinum. You have been warned.

Step 1: Beat Story Mode to unlock Brainiac Character

Enjoy the Single Player story. No need to look out for anything on this playthrough. Your only goal is to finish the story to unlock the extra character “Brainiac”.

After beating the story use chapter select to do the grayed out encounters. Completing all 76 story fights unlocks the trophy “I’ll Do It again”. The missions you have completed are shown in green color (chapter select) and the ones you haven’t completed are gray.

Step 2: Miscellaneous Combat Trophies

Now that Brainiac has been unlocked you can focus on the miscellaneous combat trophies. All of them can be done in versus mode with a second controller. If you don’t have a second controller play single player matches on very easy. These trophies are quick to do and you just have to finish matches with certain moves or trigger level transitions at certain times. Each of these combat trophies takes 30-60 seconds to obtain. After 1 hour you will be at ~60% trophy completion.

Step 3: Multiverse

Complete 100 Multiverse Events for the trophy “Pulling Overtime”. You can repeat the same event 100 times in a row if you want. The Novice Battle Simulator has only 5 enemies and can be farmed on very easy difficulty. Also get all the character endings in the Multiverse Battle Simulator (see trophy “Spoiler Warning”). Darkseid’s ending is not needed because he is DLC. There are 28 characters in the base game so doing all their endings will complete 28/100 Multiverse events.

Step 4: Online Boosting

You must play 200 Online Matches, win 50 Player Matches, win 10 Ranked matches, and do several trophies tied to King of the Hill (KOTH). This can be boosted with online friends. Boosting ranked matches is the only tricky part. Everything tied to King of the Hill can be farmed in unranked rooms (private matches don’t work for some of the trophies — if someone joins your KOTH match quit out and create a new room). 10 Ranked Matches are harder to farm but it’s possible if both players search at the exact same moment when not many people are online.

Remember that doing 200 online matches will also give you lots of XP needed for leveling up your characters. If you have a boosting partner you can do perfect wins every time. A perfect win (you didn’t receive any damage) gives a lot more XP than normal wins!

Step 5: Max Out All Chars & Loot Box Trophies

For this you must max out all 28 characters in the base game (DLC characters such as Darkseid don’t count). Level 20 is the maximum for every character. There are three very easy ways to get this done quickly:

  • Buy level ups with Source Crystals (micro transactions). You can buy these from PS Store for real money. With this you can max out all characters in a few minutes. The only requirement is that you reached level 20 with any character by yourself. After that you can pay 10,000 Source Crystals to bring a character to level 20 instantly (in main menu go to character customization and press Triangle on the char you want to max out). You can purchase 150,000 Source Crystals for $49,99 USD on PlayStation Store (that’s $100 for all 28 characters).
  • Farm XP in “AI Battle Simulator” Multiplayer Mode. These are simulated matches that you can speed up (they can run at x4 speed so the matches are very short). You don’t have to play any of these matches, the characters will be AI controlled. It is highly recommended that you get a Turbo Controller or Arcade Stick with turbo function for this! Simply Turbo the X Button and let it sit for a few hours. The good thing is that you can level 3 characters at the same time with this (because this mode has 3 matches in a row and whoever wins 2 out of 3 wins). I maxed out 3 characters every 8 hours. So you can do 9 characters every day. Just turn on the Turbo before going to sleep and let it sit overnight. When you wake up you should have 3 chars maxed out. With 28 chars total it will take a little over 3 days to max out all of them. You just need to change your 3 characters every 8 hours or so.
  • With a second controller: do perfect matches in local versus matches. Perfect wins (meaning you didn’t receive damage) give a lot more XP than normal wins. Make sure you put the match time to 300 seconds in game options. This way you earn more XP per match (XP are partly based on time remaining).

Along the way you’ll also earn lots of coins and Loot Boxes. You should have received many of them from doing the other trophies. First make a backup of your Injustice 2 save game (PS4 Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Copy to USB Storage). Now open all the loot and buy as many bronze boxes as you can. This should give you 250 common items. Epic Gear is the hardest to get. The cheapest way to earn Epic Gear is from bronze boxes (not gold ones). Bronze boxes cost only 1000 coins (5000 with patch 1.04) and on average you get 1 epic gear every 10-20 boxes (plus you can sell back the junk items you don’t need). If you’re not happy with the outcome copy back the backup save and retry until you get enough Epic Gear.

World Destroyer
Complete all Trophies
Unlock all other trophies to earn platinum (DLCs not required).
Catch The 4:30 To Metropolis
Knock an opponent into the Memorial Station Arena Transition at 4:30

Start a match on Metropolis Map, Memorial Station Arena (single match or local versus with two controllers). Press Triangle-Button on the Metropolis map to make Memorial Station the starting arena.

Push your opponent in the corner and change the time in the PS4 Settings. It must be 4:30am in the real world to pop this trophy, but you can easily fool the console by setting the time manually.

This can be done in PS4 Settings > Date and Time > Date and Time Settings > Set Manually > 4:30.

After changing your console’s time switch back to the game and trigger the level transition.

It’s Showtime
Knock an opponent into the Empire Theatre Arena Transition at 8:00pm

Start a match on Gotham City Map, Empire Theatre Arena (single match or local versus with two controllers).

Push your opponent in the corner and change the time in the PS4 Settings. It must be 8:00pm (20:00) in the real world to pop this trophy, but you can easily fool the console by setting the time manually.

This can be done in PS4 Settings > Date and Time > Date and Time Settings > Set Manually > 20:00.

After changing your console’s time switch back to the game and trigger the level transition.

Going Ape
Throw 3 kegs during a match with Gorilla Grodd at the Ace o’ Clubs

Play a match as Gorilla Grodd on the Metropolis Map, Ace o’ Clubs arena. There are 3 barrels on the left side of the arena. Press R1 to throw them at the opponent. In map select you can press the Trianlge-Button to change the starting arena (there are two arenas in Metropolis).

Dr. Fate-Ality
Perform 3 background bounces on the Empire Theatre background

Play a match on the Gotham City Map, Empire Theatre arena (any character). In the middle of the arena you can press R1 to hurl the opponent towards the theatre. Repeat this 3 times and the trophy is yours.

Winning Is Fun
Win 10 ranked matches
From the main menu go to Online > Ranked Match. You must WIN 10 ranked matches. This is the only online trophy that’s hard to boost. If you and your boosting partner search at the exact same time there’s a chance it will pair up the two of you. Do this when the least players are online (between 4am – 11am). This way there’s a smaller chance it will pair you up with another random player.

Otherwise just practice with the character you are most comfortable with and learn how to do long combos. Eventually you’ll get lucky and find someone who’s easy to defeat.

In your hero card under “Ranked 1v1” you can see how many matches you have won.

*The online trophies may take more matches to unlock than the trophy descriptions say. It could take 11-15 ranked wins. Just keep playing and it will unlock.

Don’t Stop Me Now
Win 50 player matches
From the main menu go to Online > Rooms or Player Match. These are unranked matches that you can play 1v1.

It’s better to go into the “Rooms” section and join a room with many players. You can see the profile level of everyone and how many matches the have won/lost. Challenge low level players and use a level 20 char. What most newcomers don’t realize is that your character level and gear takes full effect in unranked matches, unless you disable it (by pressing Square-Button in map select you can change those gear options but 95% of players don’t know it’s there – by default gear and character level are turned on). If you have a level 20 character with epic level 20 gear you are practically unstoppable when fighting level 1-10 characters. By fighting people with low profile levels it’s likely they have not yet maxed out a single character, giving you a huge advantage. Also, in rooms you can get matches much quicker than searching via the “Online > Player Match” function (because there are so many people in the room and you can challenge them immediately). Best stick to 1v1 matches and always hit rematch. If your opponent also hits rematch you get to fight them again.

How to boost: Create a new Room (Online > Rooms) and have your boosting partner join the same room as you. Once they’re in the room challenge them to a 1v1 versus match. Always hit rematch after beating them. You can do this forever and get very easy wins. Technically you could just as well turbo the X-Button if you have a controller with Turbo function and let it sit for a few hours.

To see how many times you have won, go to Online > Hero Card > Player Match 1v1 / King of the Hill.

King of the Hill matches also count for this! Your KOTH + 1v1 matches are counted together.

*The online trophies may take more matches to unlock than the trophy descriptions say. For me this trophy unlocked after 54 player matches won. Just keep playing and it will unlock.

A Real Contender
Play 200 online matches
For this you need to play any 200 online matches. This includes private matches, ranked matches, unranked player matches and King of the Hill. The easiest way to farm it is in private matches with a friend. Always hit rematch at the end. Make sure you use a level 20 character with lots of strength and your opponent a weak level 1 character. This way the match ends quicker.

Remember that you must win 50 player matches and 10 ranked matches and some KOTH matches for other trophies. By the time you are done with all those trophies you may very well have done 200 matches total.

You do not have to win these matches. If you help someone boosting wins it will also count your losses!

*The online trophies may take more matches to unlock than the trophy descriptions say. It could take a little more than 200 matches. Just keep playing and the trophy will unlock.

Stay Down
Knock an opponent into an Arena Transition 25 times
Some maps have arena transitions. You can trigger them by pushing your opponent in the corner and pressing Left + X.

The following maps have transitions:

  • Arkham Asylum
  • Atlantis
  • Gotham City
  • Kahndaq
  • Red Sun Prison
  • Metropolis
  • Brainiac’s Ship
  • Batcave
Killer Croc
Have the final hit come from the crocodile in Slaughter Swamp

Play a match on the Slaughter Swamp map and pick a strong, muscular character (e.g. Cyborg or Gorilla Grodd). At the end of the match, when your opponent has very little health left, grab the crocodile that’s hanging in the background (press R1). It will then swing the crocodile at the opponent and land the final blow to end the match. Chars with a lean build aren’t strong enough to grab the crocodile, so it has to be a strong one like Cyborg.

Would You Like Some Crumpets With That?
Duck 10 times in a row during a match
Very easy – press D-Pad Down 10 times in a row to duck.
Half Way There
Complete 50% of Story mode
See trophy “Who’s Next?”
Who’s Next?
Complete 100% of Story mode
From the main menu select Single Player > Play Story. The story consists of 12 chapters. Play through all of it and the trophy will unlock.
I’ll Do It Again
Complete Story mode after doing all alternate paths
After beating the story for the first time, use chapter select to do the grayed out encounters. The ones you have completed are green and the ones you haven’t are gray. Completing all 76 story fights unlocks the trophy “I’ll Do It again”.

During your main playthrough you will get to pick characters before certain fights. You have to go back via chapter select and pick the opposite character. Luckily, it shows exactly which character you have previously completed it with.

I Voted
Vote correctly 10 times in King of the Hill
From the main menu go to Online > Rooms > pick the room with most people in it > join an ongoing KOTH match (people who are in KOTH have a green icon before their name. Click on their name and confirm to join the KOTH match). If there’s no ongoing match, create one yourself and challenge all available players.

Now once you’re inside KOTH press the Options-Button to go AFK. While AFK you can never be picked to fight the King. It will let you watch infinitely. Before every match you will see a 5 second popup to bet on the winner. Most of the time the King will win. Always bet on the king and you’ll be correct most of the time. It’s a bit boring and takes a while but you just need to be around when a new match starts and cast your vote.

If you have a group of people to boost with, meet up in the same room and start a KOTH match from there. Now always let the same player win and everyone will get these 10 votes quickly.

Off With His Head
Dethrone a King 5 times in King of the Hill
This can be boosted in unranked rooms (doesn’t work in private match).

From the main menu go to Online > Rooms > Create Room (press Square-Button), or join an empty room. Let your boosting partner join into the same room as you. Now press X on their name and King of the Hill to challenge them to a match.

The one who send the challenge will be king. The king always starts on the left side of the arena. The person that starts on the right must win the match. That person will then become the new King so it’s your turn to dethrone them. Always lose one match, win one, lose one, win one and repeat until you have 5 wins total.

Event-full
Complete 25 Multiverse events
See “Pulling Overtime”.

This will unlock automatically while going for the endings of all 28 characters.

Pulling Overtime
Complete 100 Multiverse events
Multiverse is a single player mode.

Complete 100 Multiverse Events for the trophy “Pulling Overtime”. You can repeat the same event 100 times in a row if you want. Remember you will have to complete 28/100 events as part of the “Spoiler Ending” trophy (beat ladder mode with every character).

The quickest way to farm this is by dying in the first round of Endless mode.

Go to Single Player > The Multiverse > Battle Simulator > Endless (event on the far right — you must beat the 3 multiverse tutorials to get access). Just pick your lowest level character and let the first opponent defeat you. Even though it’s a loss it will count as a completed event! The “Endless” mode is the only one where dying counts as a completed event. It takes about 90 seconds per event with loading times. After doing the 28 character endings it will take about 2 hours of farming Endless mode to complete 100 events total.

To check how many multiverse events you’ve completed go to the Main Menu > Extras > Hero Card > Overview > Events Completed (check the number). In some cases the trophy may take a few events more to unlock. If this happens to you just keep playing.

I Have Friends Now
Join a Guild
This requires an internet connection! Guilds are like Clans in Injustice 2.

From the main menu choose Guilds > Join a Guild.

It does NOT count when creating your own guild. You must join the guild of someone else. You can leave guilds at any time (even your own if you created one).

So Many Presents
Open 100 Mother Boxes
From the main menu go to “Mother Eye Vault”. Here you can open loot boxes.

Open any 100 of them to pop the trophy. You will earn tons of boxes over the course of the game. They are completion rewards from Multiverse events, beating the story, or simply reaching certain level thresholds. You can also buy bronze boxes for 1000 coins each (5000 with patch 1.04). Coins are rewarded for practically everything you do (at the end of every match and again for completing certain events). You can also sell gear to get coins.

*This trophy may be a bit glitchy. For me it unlocked after opening 140 Mother Boxes, not 100. You can check your stats under Extras > Hero Card, but apparently those aren’t very reliable for loot box related trophies. No worries if it doesn’t unlock, just keep opening boxes and it will.

Feeling Super
Perform every Supermove
Each character has exactly 1 Supermove. They are activated by pressing L2+R2 once your super meter (the blue bar at bottom of screen) has filled up.

Doing these in Practice Mode does NOT count. They have to be done in normal matches. You can easily combine it with the trophy “Spoiler Alert”. For it you need to unlock the ending of every character and do a playthrough with each of them in ladder mode.

Stand close to the opponent and play on very easy difficulty. On higher difficulties they may block your Supermove.

OUTTA NOWHERE!!!!!!
Bane must defeat Batman with the final hit coming from a Meter Burn Bane Bomb
You must play as Bane and kill Batman with: Down – Left – Right – X – R2.

Press R2 quickly at end of combo to do a meter burn.

When Canaries Cry
Black Canary must defeat any opponent with the final hit coming from a level 3 Canary Cry
Press Circle to do a Canary Cry. Wait for the symbol at the bottom of the screen to turn red (this means it’s a level 3 cry).
Cat Fight
Catwoman must defeat Cheetah with the final hit coming from Cat Call
Patch 1.04 Update: Bronze Boxes now cost 5000 money instead of 1000. For this reason it is recommended that you play the game without patches from the beginning! You must disconnect from the internet in PS4 Settings > Network, otherwise it will try to download the patch. It will be 5 times more time consuming to get Cat Call with patch 1.04 installed!

This special move is unlocked from RANDOM mother boxes (loot boxes) in the Mother Eye Vault. On extremely rare occassions it can drop as a post-patch reward while playing with any character.

The three recommended ways to get this (that can be combined for best results):

  • Pile up on a lot money to buy mother boxes. A minimum of 500,000 money is recommended. The Cat Call move can be unlocked from any box (bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond). Bronze boxes will do fine, the drop rate of abilities is the same across all box types. The only difference being that higher level boxes unlock more items at once. Now back up your save in PS4 Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Copy to USB Device (USB is recommended because PS+ Cloud saves sometimes get overriden automatically). After making the backup, spend all your money on bronze boxes. If you run out of money and haven’t unlocked Cat Call, simply copy back your save to get the loot boxes back. Repeat as often as you want until you get Cat Call. Due to the rarity it could take hours to get. Make sure you open all your pre-existing reward boxes before backing up the save. The reason being that reward boxes always contain the same items when you reload the save (they are timestamped when you earn them and always unlock the same items, so it would be a waste of time to open them again). Only the boxes you buy with your own money are randomized each time! Important: disconnect from the internet while opening boxes (PS4 Settings > Network > Connect to the Internet > Uncheck). If you are logged into PSN there’s a rare glitch that will make it impossible to buy new boxes (if this ever happens restore the backup save and play offline).
  • The game feature “Gear Drop Character Bias” influences drop rate and can be used to your advantage. Enable it in Main Menu > Extras > Options > Gameplay Settings > Gear Drop Character Bias > ON. Now play a lot with Catwoman to increase her droprate (make her your most played character in the Hero Card statistics). When you’re not playing with Catwoman, turn this setting OFF to get equal drop rates for all characters. In fact, if you never plan on using Catwoman as your main character you should disable this feature from the beginning.
  • What worked for me was to narrow down the pool of available abilities by opening over 5,000 bronze boxes on one save without restoring the backup save. The game never drops the same ability twice. By unlocking more abilities you increase the odds of Cat Call dropping. In other words, restoring your save game “resets” your odds every time. You should keep this trophy for last and unlock as many other abilities as possible. There are over 200 abilities in the game, the most I had with a character was 8 abilities with Captain Cold. Cat Call was the 133rd ability that dropped for me. So if restoring the save game doesn’t do the trick, consider farming money instead and narrow down the amount of remaining abilities. It took me about 2 weeks of farming money and opening boxes to earn this trophy.

If you have absolutely no luck with the loot boxes, it’s recommended that you make Catwoman your #1 most played character and turn Gear Drop Character Bias on (Game Options), back up save game and spend all money on bronze boxes. You should get much more Catwoman drops now. Alternatively, you can do thousands of matches with Catwoman for a chance to drop the ability after a match (it can drop with any character but playing with Catwoman has the best chance). You can let the AI play matches for you in Endless Mode (Multiverse > Battle Simulator). In character select press Square-Button to switch to the AI loadout. Choose Catwoman as your character and turn Gear Drop Character Bias ON in the game options. You just need to press X between matches to start the next round and the AI will find endless opponents for you.

Spoiler Alert
View all character endings in the Battle Simulator
You can play Ladder Mode in the Multiverse Single Player. After doing the 3 tutorial missions in the “Battle Simulator” planet (planet in the bottom right corner, looks like earth) you can choose between 3 ladder modes. Playing the easiest one with 5 enemies will suffice to unlock the endings. To see whose ending you’ve unlocked (and to rewatch them), go to “Customize Characters” in the main menu > select a char > click to change their loadout > press R1/RB to switch to Summary tab > press X/A to view char ending (if available it will show a button display in bottom right corner).

There are 28 characters in the base game needed for this. DLC characters such as Darkseid do NOT count. However, the character “Brainiac” who is unlocked from beating the story is required.

Here are all the characters (and a video of all endings for your viewing pleasure):

There’s My Pants
Collect a total of 200 pieces of Common Gear, excluding shaders
See trophy “Hipster”.
What To Wear?
Collect a total of 100 pieces of Rare Gear, excluding shaders
See trophy “Hipster”.
Hipster
Collect a total of 50 pieces of Epic Gear, excluding shaders
From the main menu go to “Mother Eye Vault”. Here you can open loot boxes. These contain randomized gear.

You will earn tons of boxes over the course of the game. They are completion rewards from Multiverse events, beating the story, or simply reaching a certain level threshold. You can also buy boxes for coins. Coins are rewarded for practically everything you do (at the end of every match and again for completing certain events). You can also sell gear to get coins.

It is highly recommended that you buy bronze boxes only! They only cost 1000 each (5000 with patch 1.04) and on average you will get 1 epic piece every 15 boxes. One gold box costs 25,000 and doesn’t have a much better drop rate (1 epic every 7-10 boxes). Bronze boxes are the cheapest way to go. They unlock fewer items at once but can unlock any quality.

  • Bronze Box: Costs 1000 coins (5000 with patch 1.04). By far the best choice, decent drop rate of epic and rare gear. Only buy this one and forget about the rest.
  • Silver Box: Costs 5000 points (10,000 with patch 1.04). Unlocks more items and better chance for rare drops.
  • Gold Box: Costs 25000 points. Unlocks even more items and tends to give more rare than common items. Not really a higher chance for epic than the bronze box. Too expensive to buy.
  • Platinum: Cannot be bought, reward box only.
  • Diamond: Cannot be bought, reward box only. Highest chance of Epic drops but hard to get.

You also receive gear from doing Multiverse events, playing through the story and randomly at the end of matches. The story gives a fair amount of epic gear.

*All the trophies tied to gear pieces from Mother boxes are a bit glitchy. I needed more items than the trophy descriptions say (300 Common, 130 rare, 75 epic). You can check your stats under Extras > Hero Card, but apparently those aren’t very reliable for loot box related trophies. Alternatively you can also count the gear in your inventory (under character customization). No worries if these trophies doesn’t unlock, just keep opening boxes and get more gear. They are absolutely obtainable, just unlocking a bit later than they should.

Garage Sale
Sell a total of 250 pieces of gear
In the main menu go to Customize Characters > Inventory (press R1) > press Triangle to mark an item for sale > press X-Button to sell.

You can mark multiple items at once. You can use the money that you get to buy new loot boxes. Then sell the items from those boxes again to finance new ones. Gear and money are rewarded for practically everything you do. Gear is mostly from loot boxes, but also from clearing Multiverse events, doing the story, and randomly at the end of matches.

Overlord
Win 5 AI Battle Simulation matches
Requires an internet connection!

From the main menu go to Multiplayer > AI Battle Simulator. Now simulate 5 matches. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose. You can press Touchpad to increase the playback speed.

Feel The Power
Reach level 35 in Player XP
You earn XP for every match that you play. This will come naturally and rather quickly over time. After doing the story and unlocking every character’s ending you should be level 35. Don’t worry about this, it will come automatically while going for the other trophies. You can also keep doing simulated AI matches at x4 playback speed to earn free XP without having to do anything.
Master Of All Trades
Reach max level with all characters

Keep this trophy for last. You will earn lots of XP while doing the 200 online matches and 100 Multiverse events.

My personal favorite is farming via the AI Simulator. It doesn’t give much XP per match but you don’t have to do anything for it at all and just need to keep the console running for 3-4 days. Absolutely no skill required.

Only A Real Master
Beat an opponent online while they still have 90% health and you have 10% or less health remaining
Can be boosted in a private match. Find someone to boost this with you. In the online mode go to Private Match and invite your friend. Let them attack until your health is below 10% on the second health bar (so only 1-2 hits remaining before you die). The other player should still have completely full health. Start attacking them when your health is almost depleted and win the match.
Be Pre-Paired
Harley must dethrone an opponent in King Of The Hill with the final hit coming from Double-Trouble
Can be boosted in a private match with 1 other player. Invite a friend to a private King of the Hill match. When the other player is the King (King always starts on the left, challenger on the right), you must win the match by holding down the Circle-Button for several seconds. This will summon two dogs that deal roughly 74 damage. Make sure you hold the Circle-Button until Harley does the throw animation by herself. Don’t let go of the button.
Back To Where You Belong
Play as Batman and send all Gotham villains through the Arkham Transitions
For this you must play as Batman on the Arkham Asylum map and trigger at least the one level transition from outside to inside the Asylum. After that you can quit the match and move on to the next character (or if you want do both level transitions and finish the match but this is not necessary). Push the opponent into the corner and press Left + X to trigger the transition.

You must do this to the following villains:

  • Catwoman
  • Harley Quinn
  • Joker
  • Deadshot
  • Poison Ivy
  • Scarecrow
  • Bane

Don’t do it in practice mode, it has to be in normal matches. Works with two controllers in local versus mode (this way your opponent doesn’t move). Doing the one transition from outside the Asylum to inside will suffice.

(Thanks to user Killbomb for double checking and helping to narrow down the list)

Heathens
Win a match with each villain
Will unlock automatically while you go for the trophy “Spoiler Alert”.
This Is Why I Can’t Have Nice Things
Be in the Batcave when all the Environmental Interactions are used

The Batcave map consists of two arenas: Brother Eye & Armory. Here are all the objects you need to interact with:

Brother Eye:

  • 3 Lasers at ceiling
  • 3 Crates on right side
  • 1 Background Bounce (PC Terminal on left)
  • 1 PC Console (far left)

Armory:

  • 1 Hook at ceiling
  • 1 Trailer on the right side
  • 2 Tires in the center
  • 1 Background bounce (Batmobile in the middle)
  • 1 Motorcycle on far left

Level Transitions aren’t needed. It doesn’t matter if you hit the enemy with thrown objects. When your opponent has used one of the objects (e.g. if they throw tires at you) it will count towards the trophy, you don’t have to interact with these objects yourself. Press R1 to interact with objects.

i also would love to see video on the i hate you trophy. Ive tried this combo about 50 times now and nothing. with pause, without pause. but the grab at the end doesnt flow with the rest of the combo at all.

Not sure a video would be of any use for this.
This combo also gave me trouble. Press X+Square with a slight delay. Practice while the opponent’s health is still full and do nothing but this move the entire match. If you do the button combo over and over again you get the timing down more easily.

For Scarab you have to press R2 before attack not after.

Just double checked on my other account and Swamp Thing is not needed. Also you only have to do the first transition from outside to inside the Asylum and you can quit the match and move on to the next character after the transition.

It happens if you stay connected to the internet. The guide under Cat Fight trophy points out this glitch and that you must play offline.

However, the developers are aware of the issue and a patch should be coming soon. I’ve heard buying a guild mother box fixes it but resets your money to zero. Can’t confirm it personally but it’s worth a try.

Try to sync with the online servers by going to Main Menu — Online — Hero Card. It will download some stuff from the servers. I suspect the trophy bugs are from a discrepancy between offline & online statistics. Syncing from time to time might help the game to track things more accurately. Otherwise just keep getting money and opening boxes. On your way to maxing out all chars you will get more than enough items + money for the gear related trophies 🙂

Updated the guide now. I think in light of this patch it would be wise for newcomers to never install it and stick to version 1.00.

It took me over 2 weeks to unlock this ability, just farming money and opening boxes all day. I can’t imagine how bad it would be now at 5k a box. Will be well over 200h with this patch unless you get extremely lucky.

From pro gamer pov – this is a solid, the only prob i have this is this – The tophy is not skill-based progression – that’s endurance, time consuming task and many don’t have that much to spare.

A lot of players still try to brute-force this solo, but the reality is: the fastest and most efficient completions almost always come from people who’ve done this loop dozens of times already. And that’s why platforms like Captain Carry exist in the first place. Instead of spending weeks setting up turbo controllers, syncing ranked queues, or grinding AI matches overnight, you can directly work with players who specialize in this specific job.

So yeah – if you enjoy the process, follow the roadmap and chip away at it.
But if your goal is to get the platinum done clean, fast, and without burning 200+ hours, then working with dedicated trophy grinders is simply the more efficient play.
