Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Karahatag Shrine Walkthrough

Karahatag Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) is found in Gerudo region.

Karahatag Shrine Solution

This shrine will test your ability to manipulate passing fire around to light torches.

1. Enter the starting area and pick up the torch on the ground. Light the torch by attacking the flame on the pillar. Aim your lit torch at the pillar hanging from the roof on the opposite side of the gate ahead:
   
2. Head into the next room and up the ladder. Locate the candle and stand on the bridge next to the candle and look below the switch you passed and you will see this shrine’s chest:
   
3. Glide to the chest below and after opening it use Ascend and take a note of the switch with the bullseye:
   
4. Grab the giant candle and place it in the area with no tile on the large platform:
   
5. Head to the switch with the bullseye and stand on it to lower the platform. Once it hits the bottom get off the switch so the platform comes back up launching the candle into the air a bit. Stand back on the switch and as soon as the platform lowers use Recall on the candle. This will light the first of three candles:
    
6. Move the candle to the center white piece of the platform without the tile on it and repeat the same process:
    
7. Once the second candle is lit move the candle to the third tile-less spot and repeat the process one last time:
    
8. Once all three candles are lit the gate will open to the exit.

Interact with the green gate at the end of the shrine for 1 Light of Blessing. It will also restore your health and unlocks the shrine as a permanent fast travel point.
