Zelda Tears of the Kingdom – Mayatat Shrine Walkthrough

Mayatat Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is found in the Gerudo Desert region, right beside the Kara Kara Bazaar.

This is a puzzle shrine, based around Zonai Devices that can slide on sand.

1. Enter the shrine, and in the first area, you’ll see a set of 3 Sledges continually dropping into the hole on the left. Grab all 3, plus the one on the far side of the area, and stick them together in a row, then place them against the wall on the right to climb up.

2. Head into the next area with quicksand covering most of the floor, preventing you from walking on it for long. To get around, first, stick the Control Stick on the sled to the right, then carry it over and quickly jump to the platform with the two Fans. Stick them to the Sled to construct a vehicle to slide around the sand.

3. From where you entered, take the path around to the left of the room. The sand is a dead end here, but you can climb up the ramp to reach a chest that contains 10 x Arrow.

4. Now either get back on your prior vehicle or jump across the gap to where the other parts are located and construct a new one. Make your way to the far right corner of the room (relative to where you entered) to reach the exit.

Interact with the green altar at the end of the shrine for 1 Light of Blessing. It also restores your health and unlocks the shrine as a permanent fast travel point.
