A Fine Opportunity? is a world quest in Genshin Impact. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the A Fine Opportunity? Side Quest.
A Fine Opportunity? is unlocked by talking to the quest giver Cyrus in Mondstadt, who becomes available during Prologue: Act 1.
Region: Starfell Valley
Area: Mondstadt
Quest Giver: Cyrus (Branch Master, Adventurers’ Guild)
Requirement: Talk to the quest giver Cyrus (if he’s not there, check at day, not at night, or reboot the game)
Recommended Level: 15
Reward: 100 Adventurer XP, 6000 Mora, 4 Adventurers’ Experience (Character XP Material that gives 5000XP), Teyvat Fried Egg
Mission Description: Even in the midst of the storm, Cyrus of the Adventurers’ Guild seems to be gearing up for action.
Objectives:
- Track down Jack
- Rescue Jack from the hilichurls
- Talk to Jack
- Clear out the camp
- Talk to Cyrus
Starting Location: A Fine Opportunity?
Talk to Cyrus in Mondstadt to start the quest – he might not be there at night, so if you don’t see him come back later at daytime or you can try rebooting the game.
Track down Jack
After accepting the quest be sure to track it from your quest log and you should see a yellow search area on the map. It’s in the east of Mondstadt, 700 meters away from the quest giver.
Once you get there, look for a glowing golden orb on the ground and investigate it.
After investigating the orb, you’re supposed to follow Jack’s footprints by going up the path uphill. Jack is in the yellow search area there, not far away, behind some wooden barricades where enemies are.
Rescue Jack from the hilichurls
Once you get to Jack, there will be 3 Level 15 characters in front of him. You must defeat them to rescue Jack. If you are underleveled, an easy method is to climb on top of the pillars and shoot down arrows with Amber. The enemies can’t hit you there.
Talk to Jack
After all 3 enemies are defeated, talk to Jack!
Clear out the camp
Now you must keep following the path uphill and you will reach a large group of Level 15 enemies in a camp. You must defeat them all! You should be Level 15+ for this to have an easier time. Or at the very least, have advanced the story far enough to have Kaeya & Lisa on your team. If you’re trying it before then and the enemy names have a red color it means you’re too underleveled and should come back later.
For a start, you can weaken up enemies with Amber by shooting arrows from the hill overlooking the camp. Focus on defeating the mages first, they have less health.
After defeating the first few enemies, they will call reinforcements! A big axe-wielding enemy will spawn, he has a lot of health and likes to do a tornado swing-attack. Try to defeat the smaller enemies first. When it’s only the big axe enemy left he’s not that difficult, just dodge his attacks.
Talk to Cyrus
With all enemies defeated you can now return to the quest giver Cyrus for your reward. You find him in the same place where the quest started.
