Starting Location: Ancient Powers

This quest is started in Karnok’s Wall. It has two possible spawns, here is the first:

Follow Dryxxl

Follow Dryxxl for the first time in this quest until he stops.

Solve puzzle / Optional Objective: Look for hints

To open the gate you need to shoot or melee these totems in a specific order. But first you can do the Optional Objective.

Optional Objective: Look for hints:

Just look to your right and melee the wall, that’s it. You don’t need to look for anything else.

For the main objective just shoot or melee these totems in this order:

You don’t need to interact with the 5th totem, it will be autocompleted.

Follow Dryxxl

Follow Dryxxl through the now open Gate.

Explore without Dryxxl

Dryxxl will disappear, follow the path until you find Dryxxl again.

Find Keys x2

Find two keys to open the door. Turn to your left, melee the wall and start following the path.

The first key is in this area, dropped by an enemy:

For the second key, melee this wall and follow the path.

The second key can be dropped by an enemy in one of these two areas you are now.

Insert Keys x2

Go back to the closed gate and insert both keys. Just follow the quest marker to get back.

Locate Inner Sanctum

You need to find the Inner Sanctum, just follow the path.

Follow Dryxxl

Follow him, he will open a portal.

Enter portal

Just enter the portal.

Follow Dryxxl

Follow Dryxxl into the sanctum.

Have Dryxxl start ritual

Talk to Dryxxl to start the ritual.

Collect souls

Kill the enemies to collect souls

Invest life essence

Press  to invest your life essence and finish the ritual.

Take spell

Now pick up the spell you created.

Starting Location: Ancient Powers – Part 2

Initiate the ritual

Talk to Dryxxl and start the ritual.

Defeat all enemies

Just as the last time, kill all enemies.

Offer life essence

Offer your life essence again.

Take spell

Take the spell, which is also your quest reward.

Begin the ritual

Talk to Dryxxl once again.

Collect souls

Collect the souls by just killing all enemies.

Donate life essence

Donate your life essence again.

Take spell

Again, take the spell.

Summon Dread Lord

Dryxxl will summon the Dread Lord after you talk to him.

Defeat Dread Lord

Defeat the Dread Lord.

Sacrifice life essence

Sacrifice your life essence on the altar.

Take reward

Take your reward again.

Starting Location: Ancient Powers – Part 5

Re-Summon Dread Lord

Talk to Dryxxl, he will re-summon Dread Lord one last time.

Defeat Dread Lord

Kill Dread Lord again.

Sacrifice life essence

Offer your life essence one last time.

Talk to Dryxxl

Talk to Dryxxl.
