Dust to Dust is the sixth and final subquest in Chapter 1: Act 1, Of the Land Amidst Monoliths, an Archon Quest in Genshin Impact. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Dust to Dusts Archon Subquest.
Dust to Dust is unlocked automatically when you finish Wangshu, Custodian of Clouds, and Moulder of Mountains.
Region: Liyue
Area: Liyue Harbor.
Quest Giver: Automatically given after completing Wangshu, Custodian of Clouds, and Moulder of Mountains.
Requirement: Complete subquests Wangshu, Custodian of Clouds, and Moulder of Mountains.
Recommended Level: 25
Reward: 300 Adventure EXP, 30 Primogems, 9,300 Mora, 4 Adventurer’s Experience, 2 Mystic Enhancement Ore
Mission Description: Regroup with Childe in Liyue Harbor
Objectives:
- Return to Liyue Harbor and find Childe
- Speak with Childe
Starting Location: Wangshu Inn
Return to Liyue Harbor and find Childe
Use the Teleport Waypoint in the northern edge of Liyue Harbor.
Childe is found outside of the Northland Bank. That’s where you left him at the end of Rite of Descension.
Just in case you need the description again, the directions from Rite of Descension are duplicated here:
Head southeast until you reach a set of stairs on your right next to a vendor with a diamond icon above her head.
Climb the stairs. At the top of the stairs, go forward between the two buildings.
From there, turn right and then right again up a set of stairs.
Go up a 180-degree stairs from the top of the last staircase, and then go up a rounded staircase.
Talk to Childe, who stands at the top of the rounded staircase.
After you update him, Childe tells you about the developing situation in Liyue.
Finishing this cutscene completes the Dust to Dust subquest and completes Chapter 1: Act 1: Of the Land Amidst Monoliths.
