Moulder of Mountains is the third subquest in Chapter 1: Act 1, Of the Land Amidst Monoliths, an Archon Quest in Genshin Impact. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Moulder of Mountainss Archon Subquest.
Moulder of Mountains is unlocked automatically when you finish An Impromptu Change of Plan.

Mission Description: Meet the Mountain Shaper at Mt. Hulao.
Objectives:
- Seek out Mountain Shaper
- Shatter the amber on the mountain road to save the trapped person
- Speak to Li Ding and Li Dang
- Meet Mountain Shaper
Starting Location: Qingyun Peak
Seek out Mountain Shaper
Start at the Statue of the Seven above Qingyun Peak. Then, facing west, glide off the edge and land on a small upheaval of rock.
From there, continue west and glide to the base of Mt. Hulao.
Head forward, go right by the big hole and a pack of hilichurls, and go up the path behind the big hole.
Follow the linear path until you reach a man, Li Ding, cowering in front of a small pool of water and a glowing glyph. Speak to him.
Li Ding asks you to save his brother.
Shatter the amber on the mountain road to save the trapped person
Before heading back down the mountain, look to the east for a small hill.
Go up there and unlock the Teleport Waypoint to make your life easier a little later.
Then, go to the north edge of that hill and glide down, landing near the big hole you saw earlier.
Break the big chunks of amber until you find Li Dang. Speak to him.
Talk to Li Ding and Li Dang
Use the Teleport Waypoint you just unlocked. Then run west and talk to Li Ding. After a short conversation, they leave.
Meet Mountain Shaper
Run toward the crane on the other side of the water and talk to it.
You inform the Mountain Shaper of what happened to the Geo Archon.
Finishing this cutscene completes the Moulder of Mountains subquest.
