Indiana Jones and the Great Circle A Collegial Mystery Walkthrough

September 10, 2025 by Jack McBastard Leave a Comment

A Collegial Mystery is a Mystery side quest in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants DLC. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the A Collegial Mystery side mission.

  • Starting Location: Casina Pio IV
  • Requirement: Find any of A Collegial Mystery mystery notes in Casina Pio IV
  • Reward: 100 AP
  • Quest Description: A priest is coercing a colleague to steal a confidential document. Might be worth looking into.

While inside the Casina Pio IV, head into the stairwell to the north and go upstairs. At the top is some sort of council chamber, and the site of the first mystery of the DLC!
Pick up any of the Mystery Notes to activate this quest, though the one on the desk to the south will probably be the first one you encounter.

Mystery Note #1: Federico’s Letter (15 AP)

Read the note to discover that the sender is expecting to receive a note back at his desk, which is the leftmost of the front row on the right side of the room when viewed from the pulpit.

Mystery Note #2: Allesandro’s Letter (15 AP)

This note reveals that the document Federico has been looking for has been locked in the safe in the northwest corner. The combination to the safe is hidden in the artwork that can be found around the room and can be deciphered using the following clues.

Clue 1 – “Consider the number among the Apostles present when our Lord washed their feet.”

In the bible, this happened before the Last Supper which means it was all of them. Answer: 12

Clue 2 – “Reflect upon the multitude of Cherubim bearing witness to the Nativity of our Savior.”

This one is really difficult to see in the painting, so if you can’t make them out you’ll just have to trust me on this one. Answer: 2

Clue 3 – “Finally, carefully count the beasts present in celebration as the prodigal son returns to his father’s embrace.”

There’s a dog at the bottom, and on the left side of the screen you can just see a calf’s nose poking in. Answer: 2

Put it all together and you get 1222. Enter that into the combination and the safe will open.

Inside you’ll find an Adventure Book and some other notes.

Adventure Book #1: Hard Crust (Requires 1000 AP)

Mystery Note #3: Allesandro’s Note (15 AP)

Mystery Note #4: Discretionary Assessment (15 AP)

Apparently the Blackshirts are looking into Father Ricci’s past.
