The Good Husband is an optional story mission in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). This walkthrough shows how to get all Gold Medals in The Good Husband for 100% completion.
Gold Medal Requirements:
- Completion – Gold: Just finishing the mission is an automatic Gold Medal
Starting Location: The Good Husband
- Location: Varies
- Quest Giver: Amanda (Phone Call)
- Requirement: Complete “Friend Request“
- Can Be Started By: Michael
Answer Your Phone!
At some point after you’ve completed “Friend Request”, are in the Los Santos area, and are not involved in any other mission or activity, you will get a phone call from Amanda. If you do not pick up the call, you will not have a chance to complete this mission for an easy Gold Medal. Amanda says that she’s been arrested for shoplifting and needs Michael’s help. You will then have a choice of whether or not you want to help. Press

to say you’ll help.
Go to Amanda
A timer will start with a little over two minutes on the clock, adjusted for how far you are away from the actual location. Head for the objective marker and you’ll find Amanda in the back of a police car with a uniformed officer talking to the store owner out front.
Get in the Cop Car
Park nearby and casually get behind the wheel of the police car.
Lose the Cops
You will immediately get a three-star wanted level, and police will start to give chase. Take the first right to break line of sight with the car’s owner, and make your getaway. Use side streets and alleys, and don’t stay on any street for more than a block or two before turning. Once you’ve lost the police, you’ll get a new objective marker for Michael’s home.
Take Amanda Home
If you manage to make it back to Michael’s house without a wanted level, Amanda will hop out and the mission will be over. She advises you to ditch the cop car, but you will already have your gold.
This finishes The Good Husband in GTA V.
