Scott Pilgrim EX has 19 Events in total. Completing all Events will unlock the Sidetracked trophy and achievement. Some events require areas that are accessed by a key or bomb.
- You can find a red bomb that will instantly explode when you punch it in Annex Alley, or you can get a bomb from the machine at The Beaches area.
- One screen above Annex Alley, you can find a key in the Casa Vania area, inside the bench on the top right at the lower part of the screen.
Some Events will not show up until you have progressed through the main story, and it’s best to use this guide on a save where you have cleared the game.
Some Events will not appear when you enter an area, as some Event characters appear at random. If this happens, keep exiting and re-entering an area until the event character spawns!
Key Location
Suburbs
Event #1
In a house located at the Suburbs.
Event #2
In the same house as Event #1. He won’t appear until a little time has passed after beating the first event, so go back later and the second event will appear.
Beaches
Event #3
On the grassy area, near the bomb machine.
Ice Age
Event #4
Talk to the two frozen guys. Beating this event will unlock their shop, which is required for 
Nutrition Facts.
Event #5
Talk to the Yeti. Beating this event will unlock the Yeti assist, which is required for Assistance Needed.
Throne Room
Event #6
Talk to the Shadow on the right of the screen.
East Wing
Event #7
Hit the middle light that is turned off to turn it on and open a secret passageway that leads to this event.
Shopping District
Event #8
Use a bomb to blow up the cracked wall on the left side of the screen, then talk to the guy in the bathroom.
Event #9
Use a key to open the door, then talk to the Goblin to start the gambling minigame. This Event is replayable, but you only need to clear it once.
Benvie Tech 2F
Event #10
Use a key on the door, and talk to the man inside the Dojo.
High Park
Event #11
Use a key on the locked gate, then talk to the man inside.
Event #12
Talk to the Ninja behind the gray palette.
After talking to the Ninja behind the palette, head to the Studio Gates and talk to him while he’s hiding behind some boxes to fight him. Beating this event while playing as Roxie will unlock 
Ninja Unmasked.
Studio Backlot
Event #13
In the room to the right of the Studio Backlot, talk to the Red Demon.
Distillery
Event #14
In the back middle area, next to the Hotdog Stand, head up between the barrels and talk to the Robot.
Warehouse
Event #15
To the very right of the room, talk to the guy holding a bag.
Interchange
Event #16
Talk to the guy next to the VPD HQ entrance.
VPD HQ
Event #17 and Event #18
Grab a key from the VPD HQ by destroying the item on the right side of the screen, then head through the door next to the key you just picked up. Once in the room, use the key on the door to the left to start Event #17 and use the key on the door to the right to start Event #18 beating both Event #17 and Event #18 will unlock the Vegan Police assist, which is required for Assistance Needed.
Wastelands
Event #19
Head through the door next to the Final Cup shop and talk to the robots.
