Beast of Reincarnation contains 9 Lore Painting locations. Interacting with all Lore Paintings is required for the trophy/achievement Behold, the Truth. Lore Paintings are found throughout the game by interacting with the painting in the environment, with there being 1 in each of the first 9 regions.
Nothing is missable, you can still find everything after the story in free-roam before entering New Game+.
Lore Paintings are not marked on the map in any way and there is no in-game tracking to know whether you have interacted with them, so if you complete a playthrough and are missing any you will either need to remember which you have and have not found, or go to the location of each one and interact with them again.

Lore Paintings
Lore Painting #1 – Ogouchi Buffer Zone
Northeast of Cliff-Facing Tower campsite, go across the lower area and grapple up on the far side where there is a cave directly in front, interact with the back wall
Lore Painting #2 – Ancient Civilization Zone
South of Reservoir Interior campsite, through the room where Lacerta is fought for the first time, on the other side of the hole in the ground that the characters comment on during the story.
Lore Painting #3 – The Great Wall Terraces
South of Mountain Overlook campsite, shoot the explosive container through the metal grate wall near the Keeper Golem to break the wall beside the Campsite. Enter the room to find the Lore Painting.
Lore Painting #4 – Pilgrim’s Zone
Northeast of Trail Area campsite, follow the path around the stone structure to where there is a cave to the east where this Lore Painting is located along with some other items.
Lore Painting #5 – Matsukawa Zone
Northwest of Cave Entrance campsite, in the room where you are required to fight the three Malefect to progress, behind where the Resonance Sword was located.
Lore Painting #6 – Fuji Frontier Zone
West of Bridge Control Room: Approach, after the Nue encounter continue west and before the path turns north there is a tall wooden platform you can grapple up to reach a cave behind the statue. At the end of the cave is the Lore Painting.
Lore Painting #7 – Giant Tree Zone
East of Cableway – Line 2: Peak A campsite, go into the building ruins to find the painting.
Lore Painting #8 – Crater Zone
At Crater: Rear campsite, drop down to the east where there is a tunnel that leads toward the west. At the end in a room is this painting.
Lore Painting #9 – Inukami River Zone
North of Ruined Plaza campsite, at the end of the ruins area behind where the Elite Golem was.
