The Assassin’s Creed 4 Remake features a completely new trophy list. It’s more completion oriented, we will need all of the following: all Forts, Art Collection and Equipment Slots at Great Inagua, restore all buildings in Great Inagua, win each type of tavern game, all treasure chests in underwater shipwrecks, every activity in a single location, recruit all officers, defeat all legendary ships, fully upgrade the Jackdaw, visit every location.
The multiplayer trophies have been removed. There are no difficulty-related trophies, nothing is missable, and Ubisoft confirmed everything can be earned offline (unlike AC Shadows which required a constant internet connection).

I messed around a lot on the map, but I’d say 30 to 50h max, maybe less depending on how excessive the collectibles are.

I didn’t mind the multiplayer but there were folks who had NO idea how to play and it made everything take longer. It’s good to see we don’t have to go through that all over again.

The most annoying and difficult trophy has returned: Devil of the Caribbean
I hate this trophy in the original version and the upgraded PS4 version as well. This one is actually the one I’m currently having trouble with on the PS4 version, I have the other trophies with no issues whatsoever.

Bro, be sure the Jackdaw is FULLY upgraded. Then, approach each ship from the REAR. Just go right up behind it and start BLASTING. You will not lose. Just make sure you are FULLY upgraded. STAY IMMEDIATELY BEHIND IT!!

Is this real? I hope it is. Call of Duty does this thing where every new release launches from the same game tile. Sure, it makes switching between games seamless, but since the PS5 doesn’t support multiple trophy lists for one game, each new CoD’s trophy list is a DLC list for Modern Warfare II, meaning no platinum trophies. Ubisoft said they were going to do the same thing for future AC games, starting with Shadows, which is why the other games have launch options in the main menu. The older games still launch externally because they came out before the idea was fully implemented, but Black Flag Resynced is already tied to the main menu of Shadows. I fear Ubisoft will have it launch from the Shadows game tile seamlessly, meaning no platinum trophy…

It’s not a DLC list to AC Shadows. It’s a separate list with its own platinum. Not how COD does it.

AC threatened to use a launcher, like CoD does, but that’s been dropped and each game is its own thing – no launcher, no acting like dlc.
